Being a fan of UA since "Indigoism" and there recent stuff is starting to sound a lot less conscious, I reckon they've been told you can keep your fame and money if you shut up and stop waking people up. Kind of the same thought I got from Ab-Soul's latest release "These Days" after "Control System". But the beats are still lit as fuck!
Did you listen to Evermore? The first half was filled with smooth, jazzy beats and uplifting lyrics. And Lords of Flatbush was filled with bangers too. It's a duality, fam. But I do agree, they should dial it back a bit.
