I really think he deserved more than anyone else here he put so much work, new sounds. And great beats to gbb if you ask me that’s pretty hard and did you see his face when he won he looked so relieved and so happy like he accomplished a goal and a dream and now he’ll be the gbb 21 champion forever now against River, another hard working beatboxer that really had the musical beats that just made me feel good like this was the music I didn’t even no I was looking for I was hoping one of them would’ve won so when I saw River vs colaps I was so happy knowing one of them would win and the other second big ups to everyone that participated and was there big love esh.

This is the most technically skilled beatbox compilation I think we'll ever get.
Each round was distinct and it felt like Colaps constantly added new ideas and sounds with each round, all while flawlessly executing impossible combos. He's just not human.
There will be people, who will push the boundaries even further, trust me. It's how it's always been. A "kid" will replicate every beat Colaps did here and put something extra. I thought ZeDe was the pinnacle of technicality back in 2008. Later Skiller in 2012. Later Alem in 2015 and so on and so on.

I guess I'm at the stage you were in when you saw Zede perform, I just can't fathom right now how things will get more complex. Which is why I think future GBB champs will be more of a mix of musicality and technicality.

@@synthinized no offence but 2 days isn't short, considering its just clips put tgt, instead of including things like dividing the videos into chapters to show the timestamps of each battle, or big words on screen saying smth like 'top 16: artist vs zer0'. if anything 2 days is hella long

None of us would be here and we wouldn’t be hearing all these talented and experienced artists. Beatbox is music and music makes people cheer together!
feels unreal how colaps made his way to the tittle taking down real titans of the scene like Vocodah, Zekka, King Inertia and River, almost a year later and i couldnt believe how much hard work he put into it. The Championship he took is undeniably the hardest one ever

i loved watching the closing ceremony and seeing a party erupt when colaps won no matter where they were from everyone was excited
I can’t say with enough words how much this beatboxer has impacted me. I discovered Colaps though his battle against Inertia in this GBB about 4 months ago , shortly after I watched him go against Zekka and in that battle , Colap’s 2nd round in specific got me into beatboxing (literally beatboxing) again after having had given up 7 years ago. His style is something I found unique , something that was new to me. Not only that , his routines are well structured and thought out for every next one he was going against , categorizing them by technicality , musicality and bass. I’ve re-watched his every battle in this compilation , despite how many times I’ve listened to his rounds , again and again , he never fails to impress me. I’m currently 1 month and a couple days into beatboxing, which is a new milestone for me. i truly hope to be just as good someday. Great job and congratulations to you , Colaps! 👏👏👏 You are an inspiration (to many)! ❤️ This compilation will for sure stick with me for a LONG time , likely for a good couple years.

I just love how when the winner is announced, they just let go and fall into everyone's arms and they just dogpile you. Like for example 18:11 the massive look of relief on his face, the untensing of his of body, and then 2 seconds later, BOOM gone, melted into the crowd! It makes you realize just how stressful and yet rewarding such a competition is. Big up to all the beatboxers, for such a crazy year.

What I have been realising lately is sometimes people don't need to invent completely new sounds to innovate and stand out. They just need to customize existing sounds and master them. For example with Colaps his vocalised click roll.
It's crazy how Collaps is the one who killed both the bass monsters: Vocodah and King Inertia like it was nothing. Big ups to him. Esh 🔥
