2k clear looks great, you can strip the floor polish, I use window cleaner, as long as it has ammonia in it, experiment with the hood, strip the future off and 2k it, 😎👍👍
My Dad has that too, and him living in Illinois, when it's cold and crappy, doesn't help. I've been trying to get him down here to Florida, and maybe with all the sun, it'll help. Cool builds!!!!! You do have that clear figured out, I wish mine would shine like that!!!!
Glad to see you back. I remember seeing you build that beautiful pinto a while back. Looks like you are building good looking cars. Can’t wait to see the ford coe as well. Thanks for the video
The progression is definitely positive there. Your paint work has gotten so much nicer, it's nice to find something that works. I feel your pain with the Future, I have been using Quick Shine, since they no longer sell Future, and it's worked on a couple of builds, but it also did those huge cracks in the paint on others. Keep building!!
Thanks. Yeah I'm done with the floor polish. I shot 2K clear for 30 years on real cars so as long as I can adjust to the airbrush it should be okay. I also find comfort in using automotive basecoat. No surprises! Thanks for subbing my channel. I subbed yours in return.
Man, I had the same thing happen to me about Future polish. I'm like rambler69, I've used some window cleaner to take off the wax. I really like your 66 Wildcat Buick. Keep it up buddy, looking good. Paul
I'd love to strip it but I really dont want to lose the decals. With all the models waiting in line I don't think I should waist time worrying about this one!
I hear ya . Just take your time . Anyways I owned that same mustang GT , 1998 , black with black and grey two tone interior. Loved it . I built that kit to look exactly like it. I'm going to post a vid soon on it.Nice job on your cars👍
Thanks. Yeah I'm okay without the future. I like the urethane clear. Sprayed it on real cars for about 25 years so I'm fine using it and in reality it's cheaper than rattle cans for me. Thanks for the sub. I subbed your channel also
*Fantastic video my friend~Your last 3 are cleared fantastic~Those 2 colors would look awesome 2 tone on a model~Your wildcat and the color on your pinto~Can you tell me what colors they are and what brand paint~Thank you in advance :))*
Thanks. Wildcat is 2015 Nissan, code EAW. Color is Pacific Sunset Pearl. Pinto is 2015 Nissan, code NAH. Color is Cayenne Red Metallic. Both are Limco basecoat. Hope that helps, Sam

Thanks. I worked on that hood forever and got it straight. Put it on the truck and over the past month it has twisted back. Thinking I'll just glue it down with no motor!

Thanks. I may try that because take out 4 screws and that car completely disassembles. Will the decals survive?
@@mayberrymodelmadness5838 Probably not

Thanks. Yeah it's a real battle sometimes. I'd really like to do the COE. I've got a tanker bed to go with it.
Just found you through 6Teesrule. Great channel. So odd about the Future polish. Subd!
