Reminds me of when megan and mikael also once shared in their podcast how their pastor told them "you should love the evolving versions of your partner" and I think that really is the key. Sometimes we get so caught up with "nagbago na siya" but we fail to realise how unfair it is to want our partners to stay the way that they are when we first met them. Of course they are going to grow, just like how we will grow. So maybe what is important is that you grow together, so that you do not grow apart. Maybe, marriage and partnership is about two people who are growing individually but choose to be together in that journey.
I used to see short clips of this video, but I was still with my ex, and while some of the lines hit hard, I tried to brush it off since I didn't want to entertain the idea of breaking up with him (he is my first boyfriend). Like Kryz's story, we started dating when I was in college, and then we lasted for 6 years, but in our 3rd year together, I already felt like he wasn't the person I wanted to be with. I figured out in the middle of our relationship that we were so different. I felt guilty and blamed myself for having these thoughts since he was a good person. As the year passed by, the feeling of not being contented grew. I was spiraling and blaming myself for falling out of love, to which I communicated with my ex. We tried to make it work, but the work lasted for a short period, and then we got busy with our lives again. I wasn't growing with him, and I felt like I had to slow down my growth so I could grow with him at the same pace. Little did I know that I was depriving myself of the life I wanted until I moved abroad. I realized I didn't miss him, and I wanted a life where I didn't have to set aside my needs for someone else or at least for him. We called it quits, and we ended on good terms. I never felt so understood like my feelings were put into words by Kryz. Thank you
This is true. Like you have a relationship thats lasts long but theres always something missing. But when I met my husband now, it just clicked and vibed. In less than a year he proposed and I was just very sure that this is was it. And now we’re expecting our first child. We are in our mid 30s when we met.
Congrats on your marriage and the baby. I use to have a lot of reasons too like why would i cook, do laundry for someone na d ko kaano ano lol! But when you love someone pala and it is the right person you do things out of love and you dint keep scores
My ex grew up together but I was too focus on my career. So he left me for someone else and it’s so hard when you’re each other’s first. Ang hirap magstart ng bago
Gosh! Today's topic is so relatable very similar to the topic and issues that me and my husband discussed this morning... Thanks Skypod for the extra enlightenment...😊❤
New fan here!!! Since day 1 di na ako tumigil sa panunuod at makinig sa podcast. Especially while I'm working it helps me na mawala ang stress and accepting the things and reality na naririnig ko. Like super calming and literally helps me to apply it to myself. Just wow. Amazing podcast sending :)
Just went from a break up 2 weeks ago. 10 years kami and engaged last year. 😢 Sobrang sakit. He was the one who broke up and theres no specific reason but so many reasons 😢 but to be clear, hindi talaga problema dito relasyon namin, pero nahihila nalang dahil nalang sa mga sitwasyon 😢
yes totoo yan.yung sitwasyon yung nagpapahirap sa dalawa. like you love each other pero mahirap makawala sa sitwasyon kung hindi agad mahanapan ng paraan para e solve thats why nasisira ang relasyon
If only this video exist 2years ago when I was 24 and single. Hays. Di sana KAMI stressed sa buhay married ngayon 😢 Sana 2years ago, somebody advised me na it's okay to drift apart while we were single with no kids. So hard pala to sustain the long term relationship with the college sweetheart
Ngano man no? La koy uyab pero giganahan kog paminaw sa inyong 2? I guess it’s the depth you go to discuss anything about life. Congrats on bagging that award, well deserved! 🎉
New subscriber here. Just came from your podcast talking about "Insecurities" and I gotta admit listening to you guys was extremely.... Relaxing. It all felt so natural. Plus your insights are great! Definitely wanna hear more from you guys ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Thank you for this episode. We had the biggest struggle in our married last tri sem of 2023 and it seems were breaking up😢. After i watched this episode, i have a lot of realization in myself. Jan. 2023 we talk and pray and adjust. Thank God we're ok and no fights no more, yet😅 Thank you skypod🙏🏼❣️ Married for 10 yrs and LDR for 6 yrs
My parents were highschool sweethearts and my grandparents on my mom's side are college sweethearts, I've always wanted to have that but eyyyy here i am NBSB 🤣
First off, congrats!!! 🏆Listened to every ep & im glad to have contributed to the stats! 🍌 Agree to everything discussed. When you find the right one, hindi sya mahirap, everything is magaan lang kahit me mga struggles or conflicts. Walang easy button na nakaabang na parang when life gets tough, out the door agad. Im glad i found my right one 25 yrs ago. To date i don’t recall ever having a cinversation or a fight wherein break up was an option.
Hi. Im going thru the toughest heartbreak rn. Breakup was always his option. Pero ako lagi ang may mali. Im younger than him. Ako daw ang mali kasi grabe ako magalit kahit daw may kasalanan sya dapat di foul magsalita. Anw, im happy for you po. Do you think id ever find the right guy? I’m still 21. I know i will but yeah
@@andr___3234 awww big warm hugs to you. Dnt worry so much about it, just give yourself time to feel the pain but put an expiration date like ok to cry for a few days one week tops. Then slowly talk yourself out of situations like if wverything you see reminds you of him make the conscious effort to distract yourself. You’re 21, so young! The qualities you like now on your partner will not be the same in the next few years when you mature. Plus when you establish your own personality, be cknfident in your career or anything you have achieved in life, the little things wont nother you so much. Yung tipong ok fine your loss not mine hehehe
Congrats.. po..sky podcast family..🎉 ...one of your biggest follower here, from ur podcast to your UA-cam channel , more years and blessings po sa inyong channel..🥰
Miss Kryz, omy. That was me aslo a year ago, parang story ko rin Yung story mu, been a relationship for 8 years also on a 4th year mark, also question myself, Super relate. Hay.

THIS VIDEO IS A PRECURSOR TO ACTUALLY BREAKING UP.
Hindi na emphasize yung nangyari dun sa guy na hiniwalayan. Maybe in another podcast, I wish the best para sa mga taong hiniwalayan.
