I don't think Victoria alternates with Mel B under Geri's middle section, I'm 100% sure it's all Mel B, even though the vocals overlap. If you listen to the last 'staaay' part, it has the raspiness of Mel B in the vowels. I also think the Take Take Take is Victoria and then the aaah is Mel C.
I agree with the first part of your comment. The words "way" and "stay" clarify any doubt, they have the texture and huskiness of Mel B's tone, that is definitely Mel B with no question. The "take take take me hoooome" part is Mel C with any doubt, her tone is so unique that we cannot mistake her for anybody else in the entire industry let alone in the group.

I for a long time also thought that Victoria sang there too (I wish she did, she'd sound amazing on it). I still hear her specifically on the world "Always"; it sounds too loud and clear of a tone/note from what Mel B's voice normally sounds like. However; the word "Stay" that immediately follows it is most definitely Mel B, you can really hear the husk in it. The rest of the two lines before it, honestly, to me sounds like they could be either girl. (They both sound similar in some records.) But I'd lean more towards these lines being sung by Mel B, from what I can hear. I can also hear how some people think that Mel C's "Take-take-take-take me home" ad-lib sounds like Victoria too. Her falsetto/head voice is very soft, delicate and refined, similar to how Mel C's voice is in the ad-lib. Usually Mel C has a sort of metallic twang or nasality to her voice, which makes it very identifiable, but here on that ad-lib it's much less prominent, so I can understand the argument for it being sung by Victoria. (But I still think it's Mel C.) And no, I'm not a Posh hater. Victoria is and has always been my favourite Spice Girl and I fight for her on many occasions, but I'm also not blindly biased either.
