It's worth noting that when the show began these vehicles were about as old as an early 90s vehicle is today. So WW2 and the Korean war wasn't that distant, which is why a lot of the props are just actual surplus.
I think the best part about all these series of videos on classic cars of TV shows is the narrator. Each show fairly closely duplicates the lead actors of the series voices which is fantastic.
The series used three helicopters one of which survives to this day. It is a Bell 47D-1 registered N5167V. Great to see all the land vehicles identified!
The last MASH unit in Korea was deactivated in *1997* . "In the final episode we see Col. Potter riding his horse away as he's passed by a 1993 Hyundai Excel, 1995 Daewoo Nexia, 1997 Kia Avella..."
I had 1946 wills flat head 4 cylinder and 4 speed and 4 wheel drive top speed down hill and out of gear 50 miles per hour but I drove it places I wouldn’t walk.

M*A*S*H was a great show. I liked the ones with Colonel Potter, the best.
I always thought the bus was a little too new for the time period.
You need to do the cars of "Highway Patrol". That what take hours. That's the main reason I watch the show.
great show.
It's funny that a couple of those vehicles were made in 1954. A year after the War ended in 1953.
It sure feels good to go home
Nice, a good tv show 😀
This guy sounds like Alan Alda
Except for not being able to pronounce Uijeongbu.
I've always wanted the 411 on those vehicles.

The 54 Ford bus didn't look very new since it shouldn't have been built yet.
Frank Burns was one of a kind
You kept leaveing out the star of the show The UH13 helicopter.
The bus looks similar to my first school bus
nothing was said about what kind of copter it was used in the opening or the kind use to bring in the wounded

This show sucked. Too bad. If I was watching the last episode ever I would have never met my evil ex wife.
Watch the version without the laff track.
