No, hanging ball drill is for specific practice...you can improve your footwork, head position, batswing, timing with hanging ball..it's for basic practice... but if you want to practice swing then you can use plastic balls or wind balls.

Yes, you can practice all shots with hanging ball...you just need to adjust your distance from the ball for ball length and then you can practice horizontal shots also.....
But I'll suggest you to do basics with hanging ball... hanging ball will improve your timing, shots techniques ,your footwork and straight bat swing...but if you want to practice all shots then you can 🤗

@@nowtube12 playing slow will never affect on your batting or timing.... Hanging ball practice or t cone practice is for basic and techniques...so if you improve your basic and techniques then automatically your batting and timing will improve 🤗
And also there are different drills to improve bat swing and power shots where you can improve your fast batting and power hitting... So don't worry... hanging and t cone drills always help you to improve your batting and timing 🤗
