Just got this as well with the same reaction as you. I was laughing so much because I basically one shotted an Omaha. In my first salvo! This is an absolute blast. Love it!
By the way I started playing all my ships one after the other. It’s fun to play some forgotten and long last used ships like the Kamikaze, Graf, Minekaze and Arizona!
Yeah, I do that sometimes as well. I usually play one to three ships regularly, since I like practicing a certain playstyle, and then when I switch (e.g. I've been playing Bismarck for a while, then switch to Sims) I usually suck for the first game, until I've gotten the switch sorted in my head :) How do you do that, do you think it through, or just go for it?
Fun and games with Terry literally just go for it. It’s actually quite interesting switching styles one game after the other! Had to to play the Svetlana and Krasny tonight. Sucked initially but won both matches.
I just love this ship, my first premium ship purchase when it was released last Spring. Whenever I’m on a losing streak this Lass will usual stop the bleeding. 👌
Yes, she's more of a battlecruiser with lots and lots of guns. If you see a USN BB, set it on fire, angle away and burn it down. The upside is, having HE loaded anyway most of the time, DDs are in for a spanking if they come close, just like the Nelson. AP really just makes sense against light cruisers.
Thanks Terry. Really hilarious review. We don’t have the Agincourt on the NA server, but I will definitely watch for it. I’m grinding T6 battleships & have an increasing dislike for dds, especially when they have skilled drivers. Even though T5, Agincourt would be nice therapy.
I didn't know about the crate, and while she's definitely a fun ship to deal with DDs, you can do this in non-premium BBs as well. Vary course and speed, load the high explosive - HE can't overpenetrate, so you'll mostly do full damage against DDs. There's a technique called "torpedo baiting" - you do need some experience to estimate when they're launching their torps, but then turn in towards them and push the engines into reverse. That and the turn drop your speed as much as possible, shortening your turn circle, and since torpedoes spread outwards, by turning in towards them you pass by the spread earlier (I've done this in reverse against the Aka torps). I'll do a video on that at some point, I've got it on my list.
I'm working on premium ship crate. Hoping to get either this or Dunkerque. I'm up to 325,000 free XP so I almost have the Nelson. I also just got to North Carolina on the American tech tree. I have the Kongo on the Japanese tree, I'm not sure that I want to you tier 6. Kongo has 30 knots speed. Fuso has way more firepower but is slow as the Americans. When it gives 10% fire chance for HE, is that per shell? If so, 14 shells with 10% fire chance each should be starting a fire with every salvo on average assuming most shells hit.
Kongo was a British-built battlecruiser that got up-armoured by the Japanese AFAIR, and Fuso was one of their first own designs. I quite like the Fuso, she has a heavy broadside, but the speed is low, and IJN BB armour is relatively weak. I've been in an all-out brawl in my Nagato with a North Carolina, and lost that one quite convincingly. I'm pretty sure fire chance is per shell. They're independent events, so you can't add up the probabilities - you have 14 times a 10% chance of setting fire. My math is a bit rusty, so I had to look that up (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binomial_distribution is probably the right approach), and throwing that into a calculator keisan.casio.com/exec/system/1223626305 I get a 35% chance for 1 fire, 25% for two and so on (this is not taking fire prevention into account, which is probably a factor lowering the fire chance on each hit)
I love this ship! Quick tip, if a dd is coming straight for you fire your secondaries first, nine times out of ten they think you've missed with the primaries and turn broadside and you can send them to the bottom with a grin 😈
I don’t even need the Iron Duke now, since this is basically the near identical ship from the iron duke- class BB’s but better in terms of firepower. Now I don’t have warspite or Duke of York premiums yet, so I can now start at the Queen Elizabeth in the British BB event to get up there in the tech line!
Checking on the very old videos of the very old premium ships during the birthday event. Decide to spend gold on these old ships because they are (and had been) fun and unique compare to many premium and black sh*ts these days😂 Well good old times😢
Yeah, she's a fun ship. Have to play her more, I'm kinda at the point where I have too many ships, and don't get to play them as often as I'd like to, especially when I'm busy grinding lines :)
16 main guns @ Lyon(wich is a bad ship imo) T5 i stick with cesare or kberg or kamikaze.. its like dreadnought at t3..fun but no thx t3 only campeltown 😂 Or fuso..once warspite came the shotgun was obsolete .. if one can dodge torps / watches map to load he befor they drop their payload
Yeah, my feeling as well. I guess a lot of times the ammo pre-selection makes a big difference - play her with AP, and she's ineffective against anything but cruisers.
When the purchase of the battleship Agincourt was canceled by Brazil, it was sold to the Ottoman Empire. However, due to the possibility of a world war, the ship was seized by the British government. No refunds were made to the Ottoman Empire. This is called reliable trading.

fun and engaging game mechanics :)

Nice, winning a match in a Krasny isn't easy :)
I love how Terry Lance maniacally like a James Bond villain when he blows up destroyers! 😂❤️

Yeah, everyone has their favourite "feel good" ships :) Some ships just work.
Tirpitz 👌
The armor is a problem if you’re going against American battleships 😨

Hey Fly, it’s available in earnable mission crates and comes around for direct purchase every few weeks. GL finding her. 👍

I think she’s in the 4th mission crate. The one with a bunch of tier 5 & 6 premiums. I was hoping to get her but no......I got the Krasny Krym :(
@@clausweber7392 my commiserations... that's probably the worst possible outcome :(
Have you grinded the secondary monster of tier 6, many small flyswatters (aka the baryen)

Ha ha ha... I played the Agincourt again today. One shot 2 different DDs. I had forgotten how much fun this ship can be!

I quite like the British premium BBs so far, a good mixture of entertaining ships. Looking forward to playing up the line.
Now this is a wonderful ship can’t wait to get the 1500 crate ! Fingers crossed lol
Good luck :)
Cheers mate :)
200 subs! 👏👏
I'm honestly blown away :) Welcome everyone, and thanks again for being such an awesome and respectful crowd.

Won it in the premium mission crate, most fun in a long time
Yeah, she's a fun ship. Have to play her more, I'm kinda at the point where I have too many ships, and don't get to play them as often as I'd like to, especially when I'm busy grinding lines :)
Oh that laugh really freaked me out 😂

Right, I forgot about the Lyon (facepalm)
Campbeltown is great fun as well, but I don't often play tier 3 :)
I play the Orion with the same guns and do well. At T4 it will one salvo destroyers. This thing? I get flyswatted. But then ax gain maybe its me.
Just got the Agincourt on the birthday crate, three games in it all losses got battle star on all three games, WG hates me in this cursed ship.😭
tier 5 can be hard to carry sometimes :)
If it’s random battles expect to be hard regardless of tier
In Which server u play?
I'm in Sydney / Australia, and I'm playing on NA (apologies to all the EU and SEA viewers)
You already opened the premium ship - missioncrate for 1500points?
ah no, this one I just paid for :)
How many guns? Enough!
British shipyard: How many guns and turrets do you want?
Brazilian Navy: How many do you have?
It's not enough
The calculation is correct, but not exact. You didnt include the shatters, so yeah, but it’s a correct calculation.
This ship is actually very underrated
Yeah, my feeling as well. I guess a lot of times the ammo pre-selection makes a big difference - play her with AP, and she's ineffective against anything but cruisers.
@@FunandGameswithTerry I think it's just that no one cares about low tier premiums tbh
yeah, that's true - although given how popular this video has become, maybe more than we think :)
Agincourt is a memeship.
