- This week we returned to Treasure Beach and were rewarded with a stunning tiny Bucket List Find! We also found lots of wonderful metal artefacts and lead treasures! Join us as we get just a tad excited on a beautiful sunny days mudlarking!

Y’all have me sitting on the edge of my seat wanting to know what the item was found next weeks video. Can’t wait to see it! I am enjoying your new crafting channel also. As for me I don’t have a problem with the videos being long the longer the better! I dare to say I’m pretty sure everyone else agrees.

When I was a young girl the stove in our kitchen burned kerosene, and on the side was a small window made mica so we could see how the flames were going. I am old now - 70

I love the zombie soldier, cannot believe you found the beautiful red glass die,and those great buttons,I am not artistic like you gals are,so I wouldn't know the best ways to make use of the treasures you come across,but it wouldn't stop me from picking them up,I would have such a stash,I would be a boarder line hoarder.
If you make a miniature fairy garden the spooky soldier would be a good statue in the garden.
White ceramic thing at around 4:10 could be a bathtub.

Mica(Mycah)or isinglass..stateside it is found naturally in the smoky mountains..early American natives used it for decorative and funerary purposes..
Congrats on finding a bucket list item! Lost of wonderful finds. Makes me miss rummaging through the family junk drawer and piecing together miniature props for dolls. Excited to see what was found in the next video!

You found a vase with just feet then a set of legs and Kate found a soldier from the waste up might all belong together. I love love love your beautiful die also the green flower is beautiful. It looks to be a hat pin bead but never the less still beautiful.

I don't know if you all get to watch a very popular show from here in the US called the walking Dead" but all of the tin soldiers you find would make an excellent herd of walkers!!!
Love your videos the way you can just walk and find all the really cool stuff. In Alberta, Canada all the dumps are closed to the public.
This was such an amazing hunt I don't know how you could possibly surpass it! I am always so astonished at what you find and how you see it! The mica piece is like what we had in our gas heating stove front so you could see the burners. Maybe to make sure they were on or the pilot light was on? I'm not sure but I remember wishing I could use the pieces for plates for my dolls. I wouldn't have dared to though or I would have been in big trouble. Funny I had not thought of that for over 60 years! 🤣 Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤

Your bent head soldier looks like a zombie! Lot's of fun interesting finds, great die, love the gold button too!
I would dare to say the military badge is definitely gold or gold plated. Any other metal would have had a patina or corrosion to it. I do know I have seen a button made of gold and a secondary metal used for the backing and shank due to gold being to soft the shanks would brake easily. Maybe further research would answer more questions. If there’s substantial weight to it the front might be solid gold. I vote that it’s a Scotty dog for sure lol. I see a Scotty you see a Scotty so we vote it’s definitely a Scotty. Hehe
I was just watching an older video of yous( the one where Fleur finds the head pipe), and there was a close up of a Booths Gin bottle lid. It had an embossed lion on it that looked exactly like the one on your seal that you found it this video. Perhaps that seal is from a Booths Gin bottle?
So many tiny treasures, love watching to see what you find then turn into something for the doll house.

The soldier looks like a hanging victim to me. Scary! Kate you are saying mica correctly, at least here in the US. As you know we barely speak the same language! Love all the discoveries, I look forward to part 2.

I just bought a secondhand vintage lot of random little bits that contained two black and white scottie dog figures from that alcohol brand. So I had just read about them. I like researching all the old trinkets I find. It is my way of "mudlarking" from my bed 😆

In Canada it is pronounced Myka and used as you just read. It is fascinating, with a flame behind it as in an oil heater.

I loved going rock hunting with my Dad and finding mica. He gave me some black mica that I used for shisha embroidery when I was a teen. A hunk of mica that you can peel off sheets from is called a book and once in a while we found them in six sided crystals. Fun times!
Mica is amazing. Those hexagonal pieces come in beautiful colors. You must be from one of the fortunate parts of the world that they occur in. They hold many spiritual values and for the heart Chakra.

Y’all could make a board game for the dice or look up Worlds Smallest game that brand has tiny chess, tiny monopoly, tiny bowling pins, tiny etch a sketch etc would definitely work for your dollhouse nursery

Have you considered making a small glass bottle necklace to wear when you’re mudlarking? It could come in handy for carrying your small “bits and bobs”. (And gold!). Enjoying both your channels from Waldo, OH, USA
You’re going to have to build another dollhouse soon to have a place to put all your tiny treasures.
Theres' a ghost story - maybe M.R. James - in which a mysterious character with a long, 'lolling neck' seems to come out of a garden hedge and frighten the protagonist. I think it's suggested that he was once hung and executed, and is haunting the site of the garden. That's what I thought of immediately.
Now. We use it in crafting.

The broken soap dish will make a very cute bathtub. Add small nob or whatever to make it look like a claw tub. Just my thought! Have fun will all your finds ladies!!

I’m sorry to bother you but I was wanting to know if you have an idea of any problem with the mud pies channel. I’ve unsubscribed and re subscribed pushed all. Notifications and still haven’t seen a video posted for two months or so. I pray all is well with them and their family. My mom used to love to go beach combing. We would spend hours walking up and down the beach when I was young, looking for agates and sea glass amongst other things. I miss you mom!!!!!!
I know how you feel, I miss my mum terribly, wish I could see her sweet face again and say a few words.

Another joyous lark at that beautiful location. The shots of the flock of birds and the flowers in the fields were magical. Kate, the red, glass dice is a beauty, well spotted. Fleur, the soldier with the droopy head was probably asleep at his post. Once again Treasure beach has been kind to you both.

Mica, that piece may have been a window on a furnace or stove. Was also used greatly in gramophones, so if you find a circular piece with a small hole in the middle it will be from one of those. Thanks for the great video as always. 😀👍

The Dice its Ammmmaaazing and red too how lovely to have found that. The deer does look like a red deer with the shaggy hair on its neck and the gold button is gorgeous and to think it was just brought back to life in lemon juice. That horror soldier can go in the corner of the nursery 😂 I'm still quite lost, but a lovely K&C video helps! Seeing Kate find that dice is lovely! The loveliest smile 😊 Those buttons are pretty fab to be honest and I definitely see a scottie dog too! The GPO insulators from pre 1930s often had a broad arrow stamped in the top... Although the potters often had their own little symbol stamps like clover leaves etc which are nice to find!
