@ I held off on trying it for so long because I have Fire at Will. If I recall correctly Fragrantica says it’s most similar to Tihota. However, when I sampled it, I knew in my gut it was better than Fire at Will but I am really splitting hairs. Tihota has better projection, longevity and sillage but those things may not as important to you.
@@kathywitter6076 Thank you ❤️ I will start putting together a video for discontinued fragrance alternatives. Do you have a favorite fragrance of Andy Tauer’s?
@fullbottleworthy I only have 2 - Au Coeur Du Desert and Sotto La Luna Tuberose, and they're lovely. I'd love to sample more, but he doesn't ship to the UK
@@kathywitter6076 That is too bad. I have tried both of those fragrances but do not own a bottle of either. I would like to revisit ACDD. I sampled it years ago and felt it was too masculine on me but I may feel differently about it now.
Wow, you have an amazing collection and I love your style. Subscribed! I appreciate the mix of old and new, designer and niche. I’m not usually a vanilla girl, but my favorite scent is Angelique Noire. I recently tried Narcotica Happy Dust and really enjoy it despite the simplicity. Similar to Tihota and Fire at Will but better. Have you tried that one?
@@shahrzadtavasoli3331 Wow! It sounds like we have the same taste in vanilla perfume. What other types of perfume do you like? Floral? Woody? Fresh? Etc?
@@fullbottleworthy Yes, we do! It really depends on the occasion and season. I love floral and woody-spicy scents. Some of my favorites include Black Tie, Eau Duelle, Loubirouge, Cuir Beluga, and Ani. When it comes to vanilla fragrances, I prefer using intimate, skin-close vanillas specifically for sleep. For summer, I enjoy fresh and tropical scents like Imagination, Wulong Cha, Blue Madeleine, Bombom, Bora Bora, Ylang Ylang Nosy Be, Ylang in Gold, and many more in that category.
@@shahrzadtavasoli3331 I completely agree. It all depends on the occasion and season. I have tried many of the perfumes you listed. I have been wanting to try Loubirouge for a while but am not sure if it’s worth hunting down a sample because it seems the projection on the fragrance is intimate. What is your experience with the projection of Loubirouge?
@@fullbottleworthy It definitely has an intimate projection. I usually wear my cozy vanilla scents for sleep, so I don’t mind the softer projection since it’s just for me. Sometimes, I also spray it on my hands and enjoy the scent throughout the day. For evenings out, I prefer fragrances with stronger projection, and this one isn’t a powerhouse by any means. However, I’d say the longevity is pretty decent.
Happy UA-cam suggested your video! Great vanilla ranking

Gosh so so many I've not tried! What a list! 👏
@@dr.claire.perfume Thank you Claire. Which ones are you interested in trying?
@fullbottleworthy well people do go on about that tihote, I'm sorry I can't spell it 🤣 so I feel I should try it!

Yes, please do a video on alternatives to discontinued fragrances.

Gosh, Michelle. What an amazing collection 🤎💛😍. I'm so sad that the Tauerville series got discontinued and would love a video about alternatives.
