I’m still rocking my obsidian ones. I love them and it’s hard to argue against them being the GOAT
Great review mate . I’m super jealous you got them . I love the thought of the Morelia 2s mij but the old soleplate with those thicker studs put me off as I play 99 % of the time on AG pitches . Not sure how they would be .
Dang! These area completely different than the Morelia 2 studs - much thinner and overall have better pivot power
I think it has a nylon fibre-board half-shank at the midfoot, which if present should be visible under the insole. Supposed to help with energy return. Not as much as carbon fibre, but a lot better than nothing. I think all of the top Morelia boots have that half-shank? I've never had the the 'DNA' ones in my hands before to check.
Great review brother, got a question tho, which morelia boots are the great for wide feet ?
Phantom GX, New Balance Tekela Low, Adler Yatagarashu, Puma Future Ultimate
One of the biggest regrets is never having them but hey still rocking my morelia 2 along with my morelia neo 3. Along with the nike tiempo montebelluna, these are one of the few Frankenstein boots that just hits well aside from the ones that pros have
Hi Noah, great review as always, really enjoying all the Mizuno content. Would love to see you get a pair of Neo II betas to review in that silver colour 😍
I have the chance to get a pair of MIJ Neo 4’s & just wondering what size to get? For reference I currently wear a 9 in Phantom GX and they fit quite tight but the length is good (toe still has a bit of space before reaching the end). Would you recommend 8.5 for the Neo’s or stick with 9?
resale prices on these are absurd, mizuno needs to do another release
Come to Japan, and you can get these MIZUNO made in Japan boots for 160USD
Are you going to review copa pure 2+ they look sick and i have heard many good things about them
last time you reviewed the boots you mentioned they didn't break in completely and didn't fit your feet as well as the normal morelia 2s. what made you change your mind about them?
He had the wrong size. He went down .5 last time and went tts this time around. For some reason some birdie always tells him to go do half a size with mizunos which is wrong lol
@@iReinforcements no he had the exact same size he had before. look at the old review
As I said in the video mate, it might have had something to do with the post-surgery inflammation in my foot!
Is this UK 8 not too big for you? Going off your red Adler which you had in a Uk 7 would you be ok with a Uk 7 in these DNA’s? Love your vids! Thanks
Thanks for the review! I really like the mizuno morelia 2s. So I'd really really like to buy the DNA’s. But I can't find them anywhere, any suggestions?
@@dannyvillamizar4192 thanks! I think Noah forgot to add the link of the instagram page where he got them.
@@NoahCavanaugh unfortunately don't find them, is it possible to share the link from where u bought them?
Question brother, pretty new here btw and love the vids!
Anyway, I play on FG 70% of the time comapred to 30% on AG. Would you recommmed getting AGs? I personally feel discomfort when playing with FGs on AG. Please let me know, thank you man!
Thanks mate!
You can absolutely get AG boots mate! I wear my AGs on FG all the time
Please Noah, for us that are widows and cannot buy again the DNA, what do we have to buy? 😂 the yatagarasu? the x-flight 5?
I recall that you sold the original color. What made you rebought the shoes?
Amazing content as ever. Wish I could get a pair of these but sadly not gonna happen so going to settle for some Alpha MIJs.
Sizing question on the Alphas if you don't mind - if i wear a UK 8/27cm in the Neo 3 Beta, would you recommend getting the same size for the Alphas? Have watched both your reviews of the Alphas where you said the second pair were way better in terms of fit when you went up half a size.
Thanks mate! Alpha's are class as well! Such a responsive and well fitting pair of boots. Yes, definitely go with the same size IF you have medium-slim width feet. If you have a bit wider feet, go 1/2 size up.
I know this is a video about cleats i bought the neo 4 beta black gold they are great but my question today is about the nike socks 😭lol did you go true to size on those
I am a little concerned about the responsiveness and the aggression of the sole plate! You mentioned that it has an equal amount of snap back compared to the crazy fast but how is the aggression compared to the other speed boots on the market (even compared to their "relative" the mizen alpha )
I own a pair of mizuno alpha’s and I have to say I am impressed !! Thanks a lot for the feedback !!
For AG I’ve found the mizuno morelia Neo IV pro. Would you recommend that boot, have you tried them?
Love that mate! I haven't tried the pro model, but the Neo IV MIJ is class
Is the ball select brillant? Is it the match ball used in your games?
Yes! Select Brilliant Super. It's not unfortunately, we use Hummel balls 🤮
I am deciding to buy between Morelia Neo 3 Pro or Morelia Neo 2, what would u recommend?
I got the neo beta 4 with with the same/similar soleplate and think that is the only downside for me playing on real grass. It is kinda like the good old Copa Mundial; means the studs are just not aggressive enough and i slip sometimes when it is slightly wet. Even the Tiempo 10 FG has more secure footing in such a condition imo. Morelias definitely feel more like an AG shoe to me.
Otherwise they are great; solid leather boots with good lockdown and light weight. Just wish they had a more aggressive and sharper stud pattern. Even something like Rebula Cup works better for me in FG.
any boots looks great at the beginning, it's a question how they will look outside and inside, after couple months of trainings and gaming
nobody say that, but I seen mizunos looks pretty unwell after only a month of tight using, especially in toes, loosing paint, appears cracks and so on
for that price, it's doesn't look good
Hey Noah, are the studs on the asics ds light x fly 5's shorter than the Morelia II's? I bought a pair of the morelia II's and the studs are a bit longer than I'm used to. Im a player who relies mostly on speed and agility, and im not sure if it'll affect my playing style at all. They fit me absolutely perfectly, though. Just wanted to know if I should give the asics a go.
Honestly dude, they’re probly the same, maybe even a bit longer. But neither should REALLY affect you
@poetanderson3 Thanks, mate. I definitely appreciate the response! I didn't think they would either, but most of our matches are held on AG pitches, and I've heard that shorter studs tend to be better for traction.
@@ansuoverstreet3226 technically longer studs will always give you more traction if shape is the same but for AG the goal is to have less traction to prevent injuries. usually you dont need that aggressive of a soleplate on AG to achieve traction compared to FG
Both are conical, so it shouldn't matter too much - I'd say the Morelia 2 studs are slightly shorter (probably no more than 2mm)
If I got the SG variation are there any TPU or plastic replacement studs I can buy to throw them on the boot for playing on ag?
Do you recommend mizuno boots with a traditional tongue or with a cloth type? Or do you feel no difference/have no preference?
Both are great! More customizable fit with the standard tongue though, just depends what you’re into!
Are the morelia neo 3 Pro the same upper leather as these ones?
I somehow got these on a slight discount and they’re absolutely insane, but sadly I’ve beat them to the ground😭
Would you go half size down like mizuno morelia neo 3 beta?
Everyones foot is different. In my experience, if you have a wide foot in the midfoot and toe box go true to size. If you have a narrow toe box and midfoot go half a size down.
Ahaha Adler Yatagarasu or Mizuno DNA??? We must see a comparison video. Let us know what you think :)
Both are excellent! Probably The Morelia DNA as it has a much more modern soleplate
I am a winger i used to play with morelia 2 like for 8 month and it were super good now i want to change them with another mizuno product whats your advice? There is a lot of choices i am confused 😂
@@NoahCavanaugh ngl i really want to go with the dna or neo 3 non beta version
I got the Neo Beta 4 MIJ and think that the studs are the only downside for me playing on real grass. Ha ha ha, my pair of the first launch, obsidian blue-silver is still in its original box in my cupboard 😉
Don’t be afraid to say that Mizuno made the BEST football boots in the world
how would you compare leather quality of these with mizuno morelia 2 MIJ?
It should be the same. Both are made in japan, and uses the same quality K leather. And if you watch the video, this boot is basically morelia 2, but with different sole which is morelia neo 3. Hence same leather
Thanks for reply guys, just had to quickly watch video and missed some information about boots
Bye Nike. With your latest disappointing no-K-leather Nike Tiempo 10 release, you leave me no option but to switch to Mizuno.
If it is the best one in the whole planet , why pros don't wear Mizuno boots ??!!!
Absolutely love the Morelia DNA, fantastic pairs of boots and so close to being perfect. Love this review!
I like your reviews(assuming you are lockhart bootblog)
@@dysfunctionalism27 Thanks! I am indeed
Thanks mate! Agreed, such an unreal boot
