I think this scenario becomes all the more scarier and sadder when you think about it. The reason as to why it is sadder is because the dude was on his last week on the job. He had literally 2 days left before he could make the curtain call and never have to risk his life almost every night. The guy had so much experience so he was probably thinking that his last week shouldn't have been anything new, but then he just gets offed once it's night 4 (and it seemed to have not been too far into the night either, meaning he had 0 chances of survival). It gets scarier because it raises the question, "How did this experienced veteran die? He spent so long on the job!", and then you realize that's EXACTLY what caused his demise in the first place. He spent TOO long, meaning the animatronics themselves learnt how to deal with him and take him down. And that's reflected in the call too--you can hear audio cues of the animatronics all ganging up on him.
