25:37 🤣😂😅 solid reaction. Y’all are doing great. You’d be surprised how many reactors never take in the fact that they’re the twins banging in the tower
And 20 characters is just the beginning, hence the reason so many suggest taking notes of names and which family they belong to, as well as where they are now vs where they've been or want to go. As more information is revealed, pieces of the puzzle will start to fall into place. The shock of the reveals is what is so delicious about watching reactions for us. A note about the incest that isn't a spoiler, just a general fact to know - the Targaryen family (which has been reduced to the white blonde haired siblings) have embraced incest throughout their history. Why that is would be more of a spoiler so I won't say any more, just that to the people of this world, a Targaryen incestuous relationship would not be surprising. They have and do sometimes marry outside their house, but 2 siblings, 2 first cousins, uncle/niece, etc, are considered no big deal to them.

Welcome to one of the DEEPEST rabbit holes ever on TV. Great show. Great performances. Most people LOVE this show. You may find you benefit from taking a few notes....
Thanks for choosing this show! I, myselve, started late with the show when it was nearly at the end; but it became one of my favourites, because it has all the elements: drama, action, mystery, action, politics, suspense, humour, but above all in comparison to other “action/fantasy” shows it has beautiful dialogues and great acting. Because of the many storylines, places and names (of people, houses, places,…), some reactors take notes. I think I should have done that. The biggest struggle newbies have with the show is keeping track of familial relationships. There are so many named characters, and they all have various bonds of blood, marriage, and sworn allegiance. It took me a few seasons to realize what some of the connections were. And even relatively minor characters can become much more significant later on in the series. Don't be afraid to take some notes.

Hopefully you guys enjoy this series and I’m really looking forward to rewatching this series with you two
I'm happy about watching this with you, after the LOTR , George RR Martin said he was inspired by LOTR about some stuff, the music in this show is amazing and the cinematography, it was filmed all over the world Iceland, morroco, Ireland Croatia Malta Spain and maybe others
We know this is a huge commitment! Stick with it! It's such a journey. Take notes if you need to. The names, loyalties, locations, and conversations can be very overwhelming!
Well that first episode kinda illustrates what Game of Thrones is, in a nutshell. But still you'll never stop being surprised with this show right untill the end. No worries about keeping up with all the characters, you'll start remembering all of the key players soon enough. John Snow, Stark's b4stard, is my favorite one (I guess probably everyone else's as well). This show is just amazing, you're going to love it no doubt. Keep up the good work. PS: You guys are awesome. Cheers from Brasil. 🇧🇷

I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night’s Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.” That's the oath. He broke is oath by deserting his post and fleeing south.
bro HBO are literally the gods of TV, The Sopranos, The wire, Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers, Six Feet Under, the list goes on and on. Game of Thrones is also the most awarded show in television history. When it was airing, the whole world was watching, there was literally packed out pubs watching it on the big screen like it was the superbowl. once you guys get invested, (which is inevitable), you'll understand the hype
Good job keeping up with family connections many people get confused at the beginning, just try to listen when they talk about families backstories, places and sigiles. They’re crucial to the plot.
You actually pick up on stuff better than most reactors. This show is probably the greatest show ever made, there is a reason for the hype. Nothing else really comes close, you will see.
Some of my fave shows are HBO shows!! (The Wire, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us) Excited for your journey (cause its DEF a journey lol) - Subscribed!
This show is amazing! Record breaking winner of most emmys for Drama-adventure series to date! Politics, family, love, hate, honor, betrayal, war, magical, nudity, sex, and killings! Definitely a show for adults, not children! This show will blow your emotions every which way, so enjoy!!!
Guys, you can be sure that if any show in recent years is worth watching, this is it. You will see how interesting things will develop and you will truly love and hate the characters.
You guys are really cute with how excited you are. Here are some tips going forward: Roll back the chatter a bit. Your questions will be answered some time in the next army of seasons, and many of them today were answered immediately, while you were still talking. These early episodes are important for details that matter later, so talking over several important details is only going to cause more questions you'll have already missed the answers to, or prevent you from understanding later answers. Dialogue is super important for the whole series, so try not to talk over people too much. You need that info. Very little said or seen is just there to be pretty. Almost everything you bump into, hear or see is important later in some way. I highly recommend that you re-watch this episode before you continue to fill in the gaps and to catch many things that everyone misses the first time because, as you say, it's super interesting, there's lots going on and it is very beautifully shot. Have fun guys, you're going on a hell of a ride!
Can't wait to go on this journey with you guys!! Two small suggestions.. A lot of characters, names, places and lore is going to be thrown at you..might be helpful to jot down names and families (houses) as you watch.. Also might be helpful if you have someone to screen comments to check for and remove spoilers for you in the comments.. XO
I worry about you guys catching spoilers since you do such a good job reading the comments. Hopefully people will not ruin anything for you. Looking forward to the long haul with this one.
You all probably haven't read the books, so getting to know the places, people's names and there are a lot of people, even one's with similar sounding names, etc will take some time. This episode had a lot of lore dump on you. Dire wolves are a unique wolf breed, they're double the size of a normal wolf. The Starks control the region that is the North and the lesser lords and common people answer to him, and the Starks answer to the king. Think of it as a region is a state and the high lord is the governor. Viserys and Daenerys, those silver haired blonds in Pentos, are the last of the Targaryen's, the Targaryen dynasty was overthrown by King Robert, Eddard and others for reason you'll find out later. A great tv series, one of my favorites
Yes yes yes!!! Please keep watching this show. It's only the greatest show ever! It can be a little tough to follow at first, but just hang in there. You guys seem to do well at paying attention, so you'll be fine. And if you do have questions, you have many GoT fans here that will be happy to help.
MY all time Favourite..............hands down its the greatest..... by the way... its a long journey of emotions , characters, and story twists ,, and it will give you chills , every single episodes are so good...and to be honest the musics and and the visuals are great too... and please keep a track on those names of each families and characters , if possible get a pen to write names...thank me later... this show will blow your mind ... i was in grade 6 when i started watching it on tv secretly (cuz its an adult show)from my parents... the 9 years journey which i had was so amazing that i even felt patriotic about this show... my family is house stark.. my moto is "winter is coming" . have a lovely day....
Robert is the king of the seven kingdoms in Westeros: the North, The Vale, The Westerlands, The Reach, the Stormlands, the Riverlands, and Dorne. Dany is currently in Essos, the eastern continent.
"It's the dude from Lord of the Rings" LOL funny enough. The man who plays Ned Stark is in Lord of the Rings! He played Borimer in the first movie. (The man who defended Marry and Pippin from the big Urikai archer, and was slain in the process)! Glad you caught that. I think you'll love his character in this.
It might be helpful to you to do a search for a map of Westeros to see where the characters are at any given time. Y'all are looking into a deep rabbit hole. But it's a good one!!
It's amazing how far you've come since you watched Dune and it felt like you basically didn't care. You picked up on things that even I missed the first time. Keep up the good work! Also, as some people say, the timeline is kind of messy, which means that it's even more important not to miss stuff. For example, this episode covers at least a couple of months, you see Jamie and Cersei in King's Landing (the capital of the Seven Kingdoms, where you saw the body of the deceased previous Hand of the King) and then you see them in Winterfell. They also explicitly say it is a month's ride between the two cities. So to explain a bit of what you've seen so far without spoiling anything: "The Realm" consists of seven kingdoms ("The Seven Kingdoms"). Robert Baratheon is "Lord of the Seven Kingdoms", but each kingdom also has it's own ruling house (the overhead of the ruling house is the actual ruler). You've so far only seen "The North" and a small bit of King's Landing which is far south of The North in another kingdom. The did mention "The Eyrie" which is the seat and castle of one of the other ruling families in another kingdom. Winterfell is a castle in The North" and the seat of House Stark which is the ruling family. Eddard "Ned" Stark is the overhead of the house. The Wall (where the episode started) is according to canon about 600 miles north of Winterfell, but still part of The North, it is the northern border. You'll understand more as the show moves on. Side note: This means that it most likely took several months for the guy who was beheaded in the beginning to get from The Wall to where he was caught. You've seen some of the houses already. The Starks are of course the most prominent in this episode. But you also see Baratheons (the king, Robert Baratheon), the Lannisters (the siblings Jamie, Cersei and Tyrion) and the Targaryens (Viserys and Daenerys). I don't think any other houses were actually revealed yet but I might be mistaken. "The Hand of the King" is basically like the prime minister in the UK; he or she runs the realm doing the day-to-day decisions. The difference with modern day UK is that the king of the realm has real power although this particular king is more interested in "eat, drink, and whore my way to an early grave". Also, Jamie and Cersei are not just brother and sister, they are actually fraternal twins. I hope this helps a bit to understand the inner workings of how this show is built up.
The intro will have you humming it every time the more you watch! 😂 Just seen this in my feed and I'm here for your GoT journey! Direwolves are mythical animal's that grow as big as horses! My favorite is Robb's wolf Grey Wind and Jon's wolf Ghost!

This is a series where you need to pay close attention to because there is a lot going on and can be hard to keep up with on the first watch. Hopefully you guys enjoy this series and I’m really looking forward to rewatching this series with you two
Can't wait!
This show... This show changed my life. Not exactly the show itself, but the friends I made through the fan community. The show is really good, tho.
that’s so cool! seriously we hope we can meet some people who think like us when it comes to this
I'm happy about watching this with you, after the LOTR , George RR Martin said he was inspired by LOTR about some stuff, the music in this show is amazing and the cinematography, it was filmed all over the world Iceland, morroco, Ireland Croatia Malta Spain and maybe others
can’t wait 😊
We know this is a huge commitment! Stick with it! It's such a journey. Take notes if you need to. The names, loyalties, locations, and conversations can be very overwhelming!
may just have to lol forreal may have to make a map
@@TheOctobersReact That's also very popular for reactors for this show! A map and a death chart 🤣
@@TheOctobersReact don’t have to make one. Theres a few online that are very good if you want to be pointed to what to use
we appreciate you 😊
OMG i had no idea you were headed there, I’m sooo in for this ride and so happy to tag along! ❤ get ready to be floored every corner..
can’t wait !!
“Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night’s Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.”
That's the oath. He broke is oath by deserting his post and fleeing south.
I really hope y'all react to the whole series, this is an incredible show!
omg I really liked your LOTR reactions. I think I’m gonna like this. You guys are really observant compared to most people.
luckily we chose to do GOT after we learned some stuff about this reacting business but thanks mostly subtitles help!
Great show, best collection of actors in the history of television. The characters really become real to you. Enjoy!
You guys have become one of my favorite reaction channels!!! So excited that you're doing GoT, can't wait to watch it with you!
thanks so much can’t wait to get into it further
No one is and will be mad at you for saying Joffrey has weasel vibes. That's the kindest thing everyone's ever said about that kid xD
bro HBO are literally the gods of TV, The Sopranos, The wire, Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers, Six Feet Under, the list goes on and on. Game of Thrones is also the most awarded show in television history. When it was airing, the whole world was watching, there was literally packed out pubs watching it on the big screen like it was the superbowl. once you guys get invested, (which is inevitable), you'll understand the hype
Great first reaction. I know you'll love this show like all of us who've seen it. Get ready for a wild ride. Subcribed too
Thanks for the sub! can’t wait!
Good job keeping up with family connections many people get confused at the beginning, just try to listen when they talk about families backstories, places and sigiles. They’re crucial to the plot.
Thanks for that as will try to listen to all they say intently
You actually pick up on stuff better than most reactors. This show is probably the greatest show ever made, there is a reason for the hype. Nothing else really comes close, you will see.
Some of my fave shows are HBO shows!! (The Wire, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us)
Excited for your journey (cause its DEF a journey lol) - Subscribed!
Oh, hell ya! I'm fully on board for this one! You guys will love this.
Yall having a great reaction so far, and picking up on a lot of things! cant wait for more reactions! this show is crazy!
Can't wait!
Oh man, I sure hope you guys continue with GoT! Absolutely fantastic story
That's the plan! 😊
Love the reaction! You all caught on SO well. Can't wait for more.
More to come!
Have fun guys, you're going on a hell of a ride!
appreciate you!
we rewatch them like 80 times in editing too lol so the rewatch no prob we got you
Game of thrones just keeps getting better season by season and hits an unbelievable peak in season 6
The show that started the reaction channel craze. I’m excited for you Sweet Summer Children 🗡️🔥🐦⬛🫅
You are going to be in one of the biggest rollercoaster rides ever. For me this is the greatest TV show ever made.
XO
Both of these, yes!
Thanks for the idea!
I’ve watched all GOT reactions and this is some of the best editing I’ve seen. You hit on all the important lines and moments. keep it up!
Wow, thank you! We are having fun !
I worry about you guys catching spoilers since you do such a good job reading the comments. Hopefully people will not ruin anything for you. Looking forward to the long haul with this one.
we are considering moderators but we suck at technology
@@TheOctobersReact well I've never been one but I'm volunteering if you need any help
First time here... Thank the algorithm Gods. Let the journey begin 😊
❤️ welcome thanks for joining
I’m so hyped!! And HBO shows are actually really good. They are OG’s of the good tv shows.
Get some moderators of your comments section. Do not let anyone spoil anything in this show for you. I am here for the ride. Hope you enjoy the show.
that deserter is owed the biggest apology in the whole series.. lol
Oh my gosh they have great instincts don’t they? They’re already on to so many characters!😆
And if you do have questions, you have many GoT fans here that will be happy to help.
it’s gonna get harder we can tell but it’s a cool concept so far!
Thanks for the info!
Great reaction 👌
Thank you 🙌
This was so unexpected. I'm here for it! Let's go!!!!
After season 1 you'll be hooked with the show. It improves a lot in budget and dialogue in season 2.
In budget yes but why in dialogues ? Season 1 is insanely good on that part
@@lolilol5346Dialogue in Season 2 and 3 is much better. Season 1 has some good but just mostly towards the end of the season.
It might be helpful to you to do a search for a map of Westeros to see where the characters are at any given time. Y'all are looking into a deep rabbit hole. But it's a good one!!
pretty good idea!
So to explain a bit of what you've seen so far without spoiling anything:
"The Realm" consists of seven kingdoms ("The Seven Kingdoms").
I hope this helps a bit to understand the inner workings of how this show is built up.
it absolutely does thank you for that! that’s was helpful
The intro will have you humming it every time the more you watch! 😂 Just seen this in my feed and I'm here for your GoT journey! Direwolves are mythical animal's that grow as big as horses! My favorite is Robb's wolf Grey Wind and Jon's wolf Ghost!
oh wow so cool!
New sub , loved the reaction this is a GREAT show cant wait to see the rest of your reactions! ❤
This is pay attention TV so the other commenters are correct that you have to listen .
However, you’re intelligent people so please also enjoy 😊
it’s so good so far
worth watching guys. One of the greatest shows ever written . Last 2 seasons questionably but they rest absolutely .
Also I LOL’d at him saying Joffrey is “probably the great hero of the story” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I know this is pretty nerdy but it also REALLY helps to take notes while watching the first season
I subscribed after that Lord of the Rings reaction and could not wait for you guys to start this show. Im tuning in to every episode! Have fun with this one you guys.
yes can’t wait!!
Pay attention to the map in the beginning credits it's a map that changes and shows u where u will be going during each episode
Yes. Joffrey is the great hero of this story...
the weasel dude?!
@@TheOctobersReact😂😂😂
Wow you guys are really observant. I'm a little obsessed with watching people see season 1 lol. Can't wait to see the rest!
yeah we have learned a little something on movie reactions to pay attention to colors clothes and dialogue! and geography!
Great choice to react to! GoT is an incredible show.
Also, if you like Game of Thrones, you should check out the movie Troy. It's written by one of the guys who created this show, David Benioff. It helps explain some of the story choices in Game of Thrones. You will need to check out the Director's Cut, though. It's much better.
LFG! Watched this series about 10 times before I decided to read the books. SO GOOD
YES!!! Love it!!! I didn’t realize you guys were putting these on UA-cam! It isn’t in my budget to jump up a tier on Patreon at the moment, so I happy to see the edits on here!
Great reactions, welcome to the games Sweet Summer Children!
More to come!
Great intro into the world of GOT. The dialogue in this is amazing but you might need a pen and paper to keep up with all the names and locations.
You guys have a great vibe - it was fun to watch GOT with you. Can’t wait for more!
Yay! Thank you!
So excited for this lol I'm strapping in for this long emotional rollercoaster.
You guys are gonna really love this. Don't worry, names & places will get easier with each episode. Look forward to taking the ride with you guys...
