Muhammad Ali appears on the "Dinah!" show, broadcast on December 3, 1975(recorded a month earlier). Tony Orlando was also a guest. I hold no rights to these images.
Uh, did I just see Muhammad Ali go 1/10 of a round with Tony Orlando on the Dinah Shore Show? And then a kiss on the mouth? Then the Champ gets a whuppin? Holy crap, thanks for this gem!
16:18 Go to college, get some knowledge, stay there until you’re through. If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can sure make something out of you.
That Diana was the most warmest host ever. She really seems like a genuinely nice person. And that man what’s his name oh yea Ali you can tell he was a nice man. He just played the act when he had a fight.
It's unfortunately so clear that after the third Frazier fight, Ali was not as sharp and alert as he was even back during the rumble in the jungle a year before. It's so tragic to see how quickly this dynamic and beloved superstar deteriorated mentally and physically in front of our eyes. Ali should have retired after1975 and avoided all those beatings against Shavers, and others. RIP champ
Beginning with Frazier 3, Ali took a lot of head shots. Norton hit him. Spinks, in the first fight, hit him a ton in the later rounds. Holmes hit him a lot too although he was trying his best not to hurt him.
This was the gig that I got & secured for Ali in 1975 Aired on September 26 1975 on the Dinah Shore Show on CBS. I made my Debut as a Dancer 💃🏾 on this National Broadcast show making $💯.00 per minute as a Debutant. Look at the TV Guide dated, September 26, 1975. yeah I got Ali on this show. Y
Dinah graduated from Vanderbilt in Nashville, she was one of the best educated performers of her time. Ali and Dinah both knew the Tennessee politician John J Hooker, also mentioned here, he was also a Vandy grad.
What a Personality man !!
This was amazing to see. Absolutely love this great video!

Aired Dec. 3 1975, filmed Nov. 3, 1975? This would be about a month after the Thrilla in Manila.

He blocked a lot of Holmes shots ken Norton didn't hit him a whole lot Spinks a few shots. What really did it was the sparring and the thyroid pills.
The Lady and Ali both have really nice American accents . The rest of America doesn't sound so good.
Soo beautiful memories!
Ali seemed to enjoy being on Dina’s show.
Yes. I think he appreciated the fact that she asked him questions that hadn't been asked a million times by others.
Dinah meet her match in this interview.
Stand By Me Sung By Muhammad Ali
