I just cannot imagine how Shanquella felt during her final moments.
In addition to the physical pain she endured, being beaten (naked) in front of men and women- neglected, afraid, vulnerable, humiliated, ridiculed, confused, defenseless- in an unfamiliar environment with familiar faces.
This story has left me up at night literally in tears 😭 It's an utter nightmare 😢 I wish I can give her Beautiful parents a hug 😢
That's what I keep thinking about...is her final hour. Can you imagine the pain that young lady was in ?? Poor baby. My gosh. 😔 Just evil.

Her dad said that he waited for her body to arrive at the funeral home and when he saw the box come through the back door, he cried like a baby! I can’t begin to imagine the heartbreak and feeling of loss he endured at that very moment!! He said he didn’t want to leave her in the funeral home and his friend had to pull him out! My heart fell to pieces 😢. This senseless death has broken so many hearts!! I ask God to wrap his arms around him and the family and keep them uplifted!! Justice needs to be served swiftly!!!

Shanquella MUST get justice. She just has to. As an trauma/neuro RRT I KNOW the damage that was done to her. She didn’t stand a chance after that injury. No one survives that. The injuries she sustained are the equivalent of a high speed T-bone accident. I truly weep for this young lady. If you have any humanity, you’re going to feel pain for the victim and her family.

Everybody involved in this who was extradited better pray they serve their time over there in Mexico after their conviction, because the way folks over here in the U.S. are grieving over her that don't even know her personally, yall gon' need the whole armor of God from inmates here on U.S. soil if you are brought back to serve your sentence. I recently read a quote that said something like, "Being around jealous people is dangerous, they are busy being competitive while you're treating them like family or your friends." If you are without friends, enjoy it! Spend time getting closer and drawer nearer to God. He could very well be saving you from things you don't see in people, keeping you from danger. But I also knew that with those goodnesses would follow jealous envious haters from both friends and family. I hope he never falls victim (as this unfortunate young lady and as my only son had) and let his guard down with devious people surrounding him with phony smiles and personnas. He would have learned so much from me as he'd have learned to discern setup snakes....

Really admire her mother’s strength. My daughter was 19 when she passed away & I couldn’t leave the house for 2yrs. Took me 9yrs to stop crying & now in yr 11 I can finally smile & lol at all the memories. Lost a lot of time grieving but I finally made it through.

Shanquella's mom is a 1st class act. She's maintained her composure, her pain, her anger, her patience with LE and Mexican officials and has presented herself so eloquently under the unimaginable nightmare she's facing .

What disgusts me the most about this is the male 'friend' who recorded the video of her being beaten and only asked 'why she didn't fight back' without intervening. This girl was laying on the ground having the life beaten out of her and the so-called 'friends' she travelled with thought this was perfectly ok. What type of vile people are these? Honestly, I feel like anyone there in the room at the time she was being viciously beaten who did not intervene or inform authorities should be charged with aiding and abetting.

Scary to think how many people could have been murdered in these vacation resorts and the crimes just brushed under the rug. I am so disgusted by the betrayal this young woman went through; I truly hope justice is served for her and her father who lost his only child. I remember crying to my mother in my late 20s about not having any friends, maybe it was in my best interest. This is so sad. Envy and jealousy will bring out the hate in people. Shanquella did not deserve this.
I have two children and one of mine currently in his mid 20's feels like you did... I told him sometimes you do better without them, yet I also understand that need to have at least one good friend. I cannot even think of the correct word to describe Mom's strength. She stands there with dry eyes but her pain runs deep. She is a mother, who despite what she is feeling thinks of the rest of the family - "if they see me falling apart, they will fall apart - I am the foundation". Mom's pillow is drenched with tears she holds in all the days.
Frustrated and determined to get justice for her child, she can cry about it later

When my son was in school, I was known for always popping up at his school. While picking him up, I broke up a fight between two young ladies. Of course the kids teased “Here is Jonathan’s mom again.” But there was no way I would sit there and let a fight occur in my face. I refuse to watch people fighting on UA-cam. I feel it is barbaric. Agreed 100%. These online videos of street fights, people getting attacked and NO ONE intervenes, but instead everyone just films it makes me sick to my stomach. This situation is extremely heart wrenching. This poor woman went on vacation thinking these people were her friends, or at the least liked her. No one protected her, no one stood up for her. This woman had to fight naked for christsakes! My heart absolutely breaks for her parents/ family smh.
I am the same way, I broke up a fight at my son's school. His name is Jonathan as well. I'm also known as Jonathan's mom and they are pretty well behaved around me now. I will never sit back and let people get in front in other people in line, or get in a fight, or see wrongdoing and not do something.

The meaning of senseless is I think everyone thinks of this case. The fact that Shanqeulla payed for all there fares and the airbnb and they killed her barely 24 hours later then left her body there is just so cold & heartless. This story hit different, I am also a mother of 3 young women and these are the “friends” I worried about and always warned my children about. She didn’t deserve this and her family doesn’t deserve this.

I'm a mother of a 24 year old daughter and can't imagine going through this. I've shed tears over this. Her mother is definitely strong! I feel that her mother can't grieve properly because she's angry too! She's fighting for her daughter each and every day! I feel once the full entire truth comes out and everything involved is held accountable, the mom and father will be able to grieve...really grieve. They will never get over this, but once everyone involved is held accountable, this will help her with some type of closure. I wouldn't be no more good personally! Prayers!

This story really effected me. We have a young woman ‘during her thing’ who was taken from us due to jealousy from her so called “friends” way too soon. We need to uplift, support and celebrate women especially when they work hard to make a name for themselves.

I'm still in shock. I watched the video recordings multiple times and I'm devastated and broken to know her "So Called" friends plot her murder. I can imagine how Shanquella was feeling during the beatings and knowing no one was by her side. The broken neck and spine was just to much pain. She passed away alone. I agree, everyone that played a part in her death needs to be extradited back to Mexico.

I'm not sure extradition to Mexico will serve up proper justice, considering all the women who go missing there that the government's done nothing about. Mexican resorts are also notorious, like cruise ships, for not dealing with crimes involving foreigners. Our extradition treaty with Mexico states they will extradite someone back to the US as long as the death penalty is off the table. So unless these low lifes end up in a Mexican prison, I pray the FBI brings them all to justice. This is a very sad, confusing case. That poor woman. Peace and blessing to the Robinson family.

I was really, really excited thinking they were extradited to Mexico, but that excitement on that point quickly ended after viewing the video.
