  • A show I had considered many times and probably discarded as many as well. Simply because, for 2001 standards, it's really not a good recording overall. If you were ready for something like Dublin 2000 last year, you're good to go here as well though. The bass level was way too much for the recording gear and distortion sets in heavily once the bass or bass drum sets in. I had to really stretch the sound far to the sides to kind of lift it being in your face all the time, but had to do this so much it feels slightly alienating at times. Furthermore, the CDs for this show were the blueprint of "how not to do it" back then I think. There were gaps between the tracks, a lot clicks, pops and all that came with media not aging well at the time.
However, if you get past all this, the show actually offers some nice twists and turns including a few not-so-regular tunes for the time!

Also make sure to check out the new website dedicated to Bon Jovi Tours that a friend and I are working on:

It's steadily growing and includes a lot of background info and trivia on the albums as well as a lot of setlists (older tours are still under construction, but constantly added).
