Wish I could've been there to give my Elementalist list a shot! I play routinely with Ryan (7th) and Dan (8th) at my LGS. Proud to see how well they done and congrats on 3rd place!
This was an excellent video. Love the diversity of the decks. All it needed was the Deathspeaker to round things out. Nice to see that some styles of decks that were front and center (AoE, AoA) are still in the mix even with the changing meta along side decks that were more of "playful decks" of a little while ago (looking at you 4th palce Sedge crabs deck!). Congrats on 3rd place!
I love these analysis style videos you put out. Super surprised not to see a single Deathspeaker in the top 8. Trinket is one of my favorites and I feel an incredibly strong and versatile card, so to see it represented the way it was in the play field and top 8 does not surprise me. Congrats on placing 3rd! I love CJ’s Seer list, I took down a locals event with it. Every game just felt like I had the control, and I only had to pop roots 2 out of my 4 matches. Just leaving Roots up as a threat and switching to scry off my spellbook, holding a site in hand, had my opponents not watching to play anything since there wouldn’t be a point if I could just timewalk them by blowing up the board. Geo roots recovers so well against other roots decks, I am not surprised to see it taking down this event. Awesome coverage, looking forward to the next video!
Congrats on 3rd and thanks very much for the breakdown ❤! Not at all surprised by the prevalence of Roots, "if you can't beat em join em" really seems to ring true in this case.
Thanks for the kind words, and for all the work you did to get this data out there! Great stuff!
Great video! Thanks so much for putting it all together. And congrats on 3rd place 😊
great breakdown, thanks for doing it!
My pleasure!
Is that Michael Hamilton? That man plays every TCG 😂
great video, been away for a bit and this helps me catch up to the meta.
Welcome back we'll have to play some limited with the new rules
Thank you for an insightful video with great tips on the different decks.

The crab deck is no joke with the army of 5 power minions

Oooof I was half awake when I typed that. Yeah I meant to say I wish it was better represented in the top 8 😅
