Wow this exercise is really good. I've been playing for a few months now, but my ring and pinky fingers (more so on the left hand) tend to move inwards towards the other fingers when the other fingers play something, so hopefully this exercise will fix the problem. Thanks for another wonderful video!

Love you new set up and keyboard BUT as you strike the keys I can hear the plastic thump of the keys maybe it’s something you can render out ..other than that I love your music and teaching style
8:19 your second and third fingers are so high up on the key - you need so much more pressure when your finger is all the way on the top edge of the key. Why do you do that?

I created a finger exercise which i think i should share. First place ur 1 2 3 4 5 fingers on the 1st 2nd 3rd 5th and the 8ve degree of the scale. Secondly, play all the notes at once then alternate between the 1st and 2nd degree of the scale while holding the rest of the other notes. Play all the notes again but this time alternate between the 1st and 3rd degree while holding the rest notes down etc. Its an exercise that challenges dexterity and finger independence. To get a real workout do both hands at once in all key signatures. Lemme know what you think of it. 🙏🏾

Yes. On the surface it’s a finger exercise but there’s lots underneath with this one. It’s a great start to a melodic piece of music to be honest.

I like the way you show us the keys, but I have a problem with the octave I have small hands.
Use single notes in the left. Also search my channel for "creative piano academy octaves" I put a vid out on it.
