I share your videos with everyone I play with and can already tell a difference between mine and their improved skills. Keep these videos coming. Thanks for all you do.
Well, this is a refreshing lesson. I am really liking the in game lesson and commentary because it's in real time. I really appreciate the previous videos and how you've broken it down so well but I really liking this version. Maybe perhaps because I'm at a different level and need this can of visualizer to put things into perspective. This is awesome. Well done. 👏👏👏👏
Excellent advise! I'm glad you show that even if you implement all the techniques that you don't always win 100% or 90% or 80% or 70% against a REALLY good and consistent banger. Even at the top Pro level you see more and more 3rd shot rips and Shake n Bake then ever before. So the strategies does work because of the new powerful paddle technology even at the higher level. And if the Pro sometime have problems with the super hard drives then definitely your rec player will have problems too. Just because they are bangers doesn't mean they can't play the soft game. They just choose to add more power to their game. I think your traditional 100% dinkers should add and work more on their Power game... that's where this game is headed because of the paddle technology. If you can make more videos on how to become better bangers that would help too. Thank you for all you do! Keep up the good work!
Would like to see a video on 'Odd Rules' (ie: what if ball hits net, then dribbles over tape, lands on bottom bar and rolls on the ground). I am sure there are some more I don't (but should) know. Great Channel!
Love this style! You explain the strategy right away!!! In your video, you seemed to imply can’t apply soft game with bangers and so you hit hard back.🤔 I thought if you have a good 3rd shot drop, reset, you can get them to kitchen to do soft dink?
@@jespb66I don't think he implies that at all. In the video he says multiple times that if you can start a dinking rally you'll most likely win the point. However, there are two big problems with using resets instead of counterattacks as your *primary* strategy against a banger. First, hitting a quality reset on a fast drive is hard to do. And if you do it badly, it becomes a pop-up in the middle of the court, which is about the worst thing you can do against a banger. So a strategy that relies on consistently hitting very difficult shots without mistakes doesn't set you up for success. And the second problem is, what happens when you hit a good, non-attackable drop, and they attack it anyway? You know they will -- that's what defines a banger, that they hit hard even when that's not the best idea. Are you going to reset it again, which just wipes out their mistake and gives them another shot? Or are you going to punish their mistake and try to win the point? That's why your thought process should be counterattack first, reset second, not the other way around.
At what level is playing a banger style game not enough to consistently win? It seems that most everybody fears bangers and are constantly looking for strategies to beat them.
When you get past 3.5. 4.0+ players can defend against them pretty well, or are strong enough to counter themselves. Banging would cease to be a consistently effective strategy.
One suggestion. You can always just play the game, and then add in the commentary during editing, that way the other players aren't waiting around during the commentary. Otherwise great tips.

I liked the style alot. Seeing the role of the bangers, using your strategy, playing it out and giving a summary of what happened 👍
Great 💪
Real world examples with commentary was very helpful.
🏆
Everyone needs to appreciate the hit at 10:31 That was simply impressive! Love the channel, keep the vids coming.

You rock!
This style worked great for me. I love the combination of seeing the point and then analyzing what happened. Well done! Keep these coming! Thank you!
Thanks, will do!
I appreciate the scenarios you present. Excellent examples
Love this type of video! Really appreciate how you backed up the video and reviewed what went right and wrong.
Great video format! Easy to follow and it’s so good to see what you’re talking about when you break it down! Keep up the good work!
Love the format of real situations with analysis! Just what i was looking for. Thank you!
Fantastic video. This scenario against bangers is a critical skill to advance beyond 3.5 -- You're the #1 coach in my play list.
Boom!

Great Examples! Visual learning is good.
Glad you think so!

Great video more like this please !
Great video, you’re a good teacher!
I appreciate that!
Agreed. The playing lessons are helpful. How about one with dinking strategies?
Sounds good
Played a banger in OpenPlay it worked. Keep the ball low and deep. Dink most bangers struggle in the dink game.

we have a video on your channel covering those topics!
This is very helpful, more than talking to the camery. Great work Ed.
My name is Connor but I appreciate it!
Nice work on the graphics, btw!
Nice video!! Very helpful. Thanks. How come no talk about overhead lobs to reset and force them back to the baseline?
we just didn't get into many dinking rallies where i had the chance to deceptively lob them. They were always speeding it up at me

Hey what’s your new paddle? Looks unmarked.
Accurate bangers are hard to deal with at all levels. It’s really comes down to which team has quicker and better hands.
Absolutely
Love this coaching vid. I'm trying to rise up out of the 3.25 level where almost every male and many of the females are some kind of banger.
Glad you liked it! Let's goooo
I'd like a video about how to become a banger. I only play recreationally it'll be easy to take on the locals with this style of play
I have a great roll shot including balls in the kitchen. Am I considered a banger?
That ball was out at 1:40

Good video, but I like Banger because they hit very hard that I am practicing. hahaa
Wouldn’t really consider these guys bangers. Most hits were normal speed
in other words, play bangers the exact same way you play everyone else...
How to become a banger? 😂
