Brilliant Stars Pokemon Cards have been out for just over 2 years. Upon release, Brilliant Stars introduced a new "gimmick" to the Pokemon Trading Card Game - "The Trainer Gallery". This gimmick introduced story telling Pokemon Cards with fantastic art which were part of a subset within the main set release. Abbreviated with TG, the Pokemon Trainer Gallery offered V, VMAX, and Full Art Trainer Pokemon Cards which were split up into 2 different Pokemon Card Pull Rate potentials within the Trainer Gallery Subset.
The introduction of the subset brought Pokemon Card Collectors the opportunity to have more pulls in their Pokemon card Booster Box and Pokemon Card Fans loved the inclusion. With popular Pokemon Card sets like Astral Radiance, Fusion Strike and Chilling Reign recently selling out on the Pokemon Center website, many Pokemon Card fans are scratching their head wondering what the next Pokemon Card Set will be that explodes in price. Will it be Brilliant Stars? Let's talk about it!

I love Lost Origin such a good set. I'm suprise is not out of stock yet but Astral Radiance is, I don't like that set.

Problem is for people just starting in the hobby in the last year. Not knowing what you like until the sets sell out.
That's no excuse. I started January and have an insane inventory now with buying and selling. All sword and shield era. Just need to invest some time in it

The charizard alt art in this set is so awesome of a card I don’t understand why it’s so cheap for the card it is.

Its called market population sells and interest in and with any card or any other collectable for that matter
Brilliant Stars is the BEST SET from the Sword & Shield Era in my humble opinion. The most beautifull Charizard EVER.

Not going to lie and im sure alot of people wont agree or like what I say, but , some of the best looking Pokémon cards are unofficial aka "fake" cards ( they are resl cards, just not official Pokémon products) and they are very cheap , none over $15
Stained Glass charizard looks amazing , but it's definitely not real , but it's being sold on ebay , my listing got removed , but the listing I copied is still up which is weird....I definitely wouldn't buy from the guy who has that set listed bc he is way over charging, but the art is amazing , hybrid charizard looks great , wolverine pikachu is awesome, charizard ash bond form looks amazing ....there are sooo many , but none of them are legit
It really just depends if you like art or value. Bc most people just care about value
And those cards are basically worthless , YOU cannot resell them without getting banned on ebay despite there being thousands of sellers selling them lol
This is how this works: within the next 6-12 years, the kids opening brilliant stars are going to be adults working and finally with money; something they didn’t have before. They are going to pay $500 for a booster box.
It's definitely not just you, I very much enjoy looking at all the data from the pokemon market places.
Bought a case when it was cheap two years ago and the set grew on me and became my favorite set, happy to have it and surely keep it for a long while 😊

I pulled the rainbow charizard from brilliant stars the other day and I absolutely love the card! I think its the coolest looking rainbow Zard, since its more of an action shot. I think the rainbow cards in like 5 years time could see some huge gains and maybe get some popularity in the future.

I bought 2 rainbow zards in a psa 10 a year or 2 ago just for this reason. Will likely sell one down the road if they explode.

A big reason for people buying now is that it’s likely the last opportunity for MSRP product since it’s out of print and the window of opportunity is closing. Demand will likely increase for some of the more popular SWSH sets in the latter SV sets. I also think the recent price increase is due to FOMO purchasing/investing which artificially raised prices, but nonetheless, some of these higher in demand sets will experience true growth and go up over time
I honestly just made my complete set of Brilliant Stars…took awhile but finally have everything card. It was the set that my son and I took our time with. Got me back into collecting.
i certainly hope so, i think astral radiance and brilliant stars are absolute banger sets IMO and have amazing pokemon with amazing SRs

I enjoy every set from S&S era. I have been stacking up on all of them sets in past years. Wonder how much will they be worth in 10,15 or 20 years of nothing it will be fun to open it up again !!! 🎉

The best buy in the Pokemon market right now is patience. Wait until the economy slows, wait until people start coughing up sealed product because they have to. Wait until we go into an environment where no one even wants to talk about this, let alone pump it. Then you buy, when there is blood in the streets and no one gives a squirtle about Pokemon. It's coming sooner than you think. This is exactly when the bubble bursts. Be careful. Raise cash. Don't be that guy............... or gal.

I went so hard on Brilliant Stars. I feel like it should be better than what it is. I never pulled any zard better than the base V card but it's got a lot of great cards but yet still nothing too extravagant for single prices.
Seems that a few S&V booster boxes were next!! 3 different ones are sold out on the Pokemon Center 😮

Brilliant stars has hit after hit esp the trainer galleries of umbreon and all the others like the vmax espeon. This set will fly esp bc it has Charizards
You cant go wrong with a case of Brilliant stars from PC rn. Id say Silver tempest too and its prob near out as its limited to 4

I get your point, but the problem is, not everyone had the money to invest 2 years ago. Maybe they weren’t investing then. Maybe they were buying a house or car. Who knows. Point is, if it is smart to invest in something now because it is about to spike in price, that remains a fact for those who want to capitalize. Maybe someone just wants to collect a set of boxes before they get too expensive to do so. That is valid too. More info is good
I think Paldea Evolved out of Scarlet and Violet one day will be one of the best sets in Scarlet and Violet era. I could see lost Origin going out of stock before Brilliant Stars. Who knows. Lol

I came into the gam late about 3 yrs too late. I think lost origins would be my best bet if i want to try get into the swsh at msrp maybe ill try pick up a box if brilliant.

I got back into Pokemon in the last 12 months. IMO Brilliant Stars is one of the best SWSH sets, and (hot take) an all around much better set then Lost Origin.
If you want to rip, this is a great set. If you want to invest, this is a great set.
Each later half swsh set other than probs silver tempest will be above $200 by the end of the year
What's your opinion on the umbreon V alt ? It being a $90 card to dam near a $200 card .
Unfortunately I enjoy all aspects of the hobby and collection goals are constantly changing. Definitely just pulled the trigger on 2 more Brilliant Stars BB for the sealed collection

Phanny you are crazy 🤪. Evolving Skies is very liquid. Great investment, solid returns. In December 2021 if you would have went all in you would have 6-7x your money it just over two years!!!! Where else could you have done that?
I've got a decent amount leftover from my pay this month, so I was looking around for what sealed to buy, none of the PC ETBs are calling to me atm, definitely no regular ETBs. I was looking around and there just isn't any Brilliant Stars available from any online stores in the UK. So I decided to get one from the UK PC for RRP (Plus there is a promotion giving away a free 6" Yamper plush for £50 purchases), which was an easy decision for me. A few hours later and I see you've posted this video XD

Opened so many Brilliant and guess what the only good pulled was Arceus alt art. Yes so many countless packs and only 1 alt art to show for, 0 rainbow zard and 0 alt art zard heck even 1 FA zard while I have plenty of others.
Surprised how much this set is still so inexpensive cause it has been hard to find in my area for quite a while
Still available on the Pokémon center, and there’s some occasions where some retailers or card shops sell it for around msrp.
Ofc there's fomo these boxes are going to be infinitely more expensive in the near future. Pokemon won't reprint they already have. It's time for Pokemon to focus on sv.

I think alot of the hype is circling around CTR and Pokerev hyping sets up while they chase one or two cards on a live stream. Rev just made a video about this apologizing for hyping up the other ALT art Umbreon from Evolving skies and we saw the price double up. With Astral radiance you had Ryan (CTR) chasing that Machamp Alt and people just want to follow.

Sadly even before the rise in popularity this happened all the time with competitive cards. I remember decks winning regionals or tilling events getting bought out. I remember common Zorua cards selling for $30 per copy. If there is money to be made, people take advantage unfortunately.
