It looks awesome! It reminds me of a rocky hill that I've tried to climb in Đà Lạt, probably steeper than this hill. Cheer, mate.

The first 5 minutes in this vid were the most challenging. Took us quite a while to get up there 😅 after that was rather easy… Da Lat is awesome for riding. Got another video of some nice trails from Mui Ne to Da Lat…

4:52 never any shame in backing up to a better launch spot. I know it can be exhausting but it’ll save energy in the long run. Good job on a tough rocky trail.

@ It just takes time in the saddle. Rocky and rutted is the toughest. Do you live in Vietnam? I live near Da Lat. Just got a WR. Was watching you video to see the potential.

@@KendoSamp yes bro, living in HCMC! I think it’s a great bike! Didn’t have any major issues yet after 15,000 km… 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I'm excited to get this Yamaha WR155 when it launches in Nepal in January 2025. Please share your thoughts on this bike, including its performance, power, comfort, mileage, etc. Thank you!

@@sidthlama hey mate, of course it’s just 155cc so it’s not the most powerful bike but still enough to do some decent off-road. Got some buddies who ride it very well and can do basically anything on it. Stock suspension is a bit on the soft side but I got used to it, no problem for me. Didn’t have any major issues yet after 15,000 km. Did a trip from HCMC to Hanoi and it was comfortable for me to ride, I changed the tires to dual sport tires and it just worked fine for me. Normally I use Dunlop Geomax MX53… from my experience so far I can absolutely recommend it! Would buy it again, no regrets!

@@sidthlama I have the 2024. Only have a few hundred kilometers so far. So I’ll share initial impressions.
Fit and finish is very good for the price.
Still in break in mode so can’t really speak about power.
Transmission is very smooth. Clutch is predictable and lite. First gear is a bit tall for serious off road. Will be changing sprockets after break in.
I am 5’6” (168 cent), and it felt a bit tall so I lowered it 2.5 cent, now it fits perfect.
I am 65 kilo and have it on the lightest setting.
Riding it on the street is very comfortable and intuitive. Handles better than expected with off road tires.
Hit some local trails. Steep, rutted and rocky. Feels like a proper dirt bike.
I purchased the bike for off road. Looking forward to 1000k so I can fully push it.

@@KendoSamp just sold my Yamaha XTZ 125 which was great in the city and plain off roads but not enough power for the uphills. It gave me no confidence to go up in the Himalaya mountains 🏔️ above 3500m. Hopefully, WR155 will not disappoint. Thanks for sharing!

@ The WR has close to 7 more hp. The XTZ is carbureted while the WR is fuel injected, (best for changing elevation without re jetting).
A friend has the XTZ 125. Difficult to compare the two.

@@sidthlama I also changed the sprockets, air filter, ECU, tires as mentioned, starter gear because of the ECU, handle bar, foot pegs, etc. but depends on your height…
