We have been homeschooling our 3 children for the last 1 year and can confirm that it requires a lot of commitment from the parents, having said that we can clearly see that their performance has improved significantly compared to that of regular schooling

I am 32 years old, I studied in private school, my parents paid a lot, When I was young I was interested in Sports and Arts and some science, Maths I never passed whole life, I don't like numbers, numbers = depression for me, my whole school life was depression, after finished schooling I discovered I also other interests like psychology, Nutrient and spirituality, can you imagine how much time were wasted for studying Maths, history, economics, imagine if all those time were invests in sports, arts, psychology, nutrients and spirituality....what I would have become? I know its my karma that I had to gone through that BS but don't want my future kids to go through same BS AGAIN!

If homeschooling takes a turn in india..many private school ll close down. How would they make money than?? It's so shameful that in india where education should be free..it's a costly affair

Homeschooling is an amazing option for kids but in India people are not much aware it or they don't have time to teach their kids. I am doing Homeschooling of my 2 daughters and they both are intelligent, smart, social and physically fit. We need to aware people in India about Homeschooling or Unschooling. Thanks 🙏

I took up homeschooling after 10th standard it felt better for me because I was free to choose when I got to read and when to socialism with friends and not having a pressure from regular examinations. Once I joined it I finished my whole studies in just 3 months because I only picked the subjects I actually like and the rest of the months I was traveling on holidays etc... and spend more time with family. It was more stress free and easier for me than regular schooling. The only con of homeschooling is that lack of socializing well today it would not be a problem because you can find a lot of friends online. I would suggest parents who want to homeschool just put your kids in social activities or else in the future they might lack communication skills even if they are good at their studies.

I want to try home schooling for my children for one year. Will my children eligible to get admission in private school after one year of home schooling?

Please sir you have gained value for your wards through career video's , don't promote such concepts, children are not ment for only studies, don't make them slaves to study, now a days we are not able to bare the corporate schools pressure on our children, homeschooling or online school is only alternative for some time not all the time. Children can't see unlimited world in limited space , pls hope you understand.🙏🏻

I agree adhd or children with asd basically having difficulty in learning,is usually rejected from school or are incapable of handling such child . I wish if u cud cover those kids educational ways to tackle and boards and online school tht really helps such child learning pace on nearly normal graph .

We have been homeschooling our child for the past 3 years now. We'll explained video. However, I disagree on the few cons you've mentioned.

  • @DevenSanchaniya

Liked everything except the cons you have discussed. I believe child learn real things in real world outside the school. child learn social skills from there parents and which are the most effective.

It is not just IGCSE or NIOS, in fact state boards allow private candidates. Karnataka state board conducts exams twice a year in Kannada & English medium for private candidates. It must be true with all state boards in India. In fact, few decades back it was common to find pvt candidates in Karnataka. Just few years back we had 2 pvt candidates in one 10th std exam hall. State board pvt exam is best as one can educate kid in our mother tongue as both IGCSE or NOIS unlikely not have.
