@@MerrilyKristinyes! Jeff Hays does such an incredible job I used to get so mad thinking they weren’t crediting anyone else 😅 He is doing cold reads of DCC 7 on the Soundbooth Theater UA-cam!
I only read 3 books in November and I feel like it was because Christmas was coming up and it's getting stressful so I'm not going to worry myself too much about it 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Yay for the Spellshop!! My only pushback on Romantasy is why does it have to be spicy and explicit? I feel like you can have a great romance that doesn't necessarily lean so hard into the spice of it all. I really like the Roots of Chaos by Samantha Shannon. I really need to give the Bone Season a try already.
For sure! I actually much prefer less spice in my fantasy romances. What I meant by that is the romantasy genre seems to be defined by the inclusion of explicit scenes and I felt like by marketing this book as a romantasy, it's misleading to consumers with that preconceived notion, who are expecting those explicit romantasy scenes and it could potentially even deter readers who like fantasy with romance but don't enjoy explicit scenes. I hope that's a better explanation of what I was trying to say! And I'll be interested in hearing what you think of Then Bone Season- I'm the opposite and still have to read Roots of Chaos!
The narrator for DCC is just one person! I thought for so long it was a full cast but it isn’t.
😱 omg no way!!!
He really does the best voices!

I agree! The spell shop is totally not a romantasy.
You've inspired me to bump Sword Catcher back up my tbr list!
I hope you enjoy Sword Catcher!
I have Heartbreak is the National Anthem on hold at my library! I can't wait to read it. Thanks for sharing your wrap up
Ahh it was SO good! I hope you love it as much as I did!
I really enjoyed Sword Catcher as well.
I'm glad to hear it!

I read 11 books in November, half of them I read with my eyes and it was awesome. December hasn't been so great so far 😅
December is always a tough reading month for me as well!
