When i was 13, i used to walk 2km from house to school 5am in the morning and played this song repeatedly with my walkman. And now im 37, everytime i listen to this song, it feels like im travelling back in time. So calm and quiet, with the beautiful stars above, fresh morning air.
I remember taking my father's cd and falling asleep listening to this on my discman at night. This song really brought me peace back then and it still does the same exact way! Sending love to everyone listening to this!
This song brings back memories of me with my 1st girl .. we were both 14 then but the attraction towards each other was like fire. Though we parted after a year, she still remains in my heart as the girl I was most in love with. I am 53 now .. have been married to my wife for 28 years and we have 3 beautiful kids together, still when I hear this song, the memories of her just keep flowing in.

Rudolf Schenker is the composer of most of the songs, although he leaves the lyrics to vocalist Klaus Meine. This song is the best version of the three or four that the group has. It is not the original from the album "Animal Magnetism", the instrumental ending is tremendous. Scorpions tends to touch up many of their songs and the results are truly amazing. "Holiday" also has several versions, the best without a doubt is the 50th anniversary collection with the long version. And so with many other songs... Still loving you, Hey you...

I read a book called “Missy’s Murder” by Karen Kingsbury about the 1985 murder of Michele “Missy” Avila at age 15 at the hands of her two female “best friends”. Just before her murder she had told her mom Irene that this was her favorite song and she wanted it played at her funeral. Of course her mom hated hearing her teen daughter talk about death, but unfortunately it became a reality just a few months later and indeed this song was played at her funeral. I had to hear it to know why Missy loved it so much. Now I can see why
