I'm so envious of that court. I haven't skated in a couple of weeks. And my last time was like a circus act it was so bad. 🤡🎪 What I would give to have a place like that to skate. Great to see you back at it again! 😃🛼🛼
Thank you! I thought about you today because I saw someone skating at the top of a parking garage. Do they have those where you are? Or like a rooftop of a building that’s accessible? I’m sorry your last skate session wasn’t the best though 😩
@@StruggleSkates thank you. Unfortunately there aren't any places like that here. It's such a small town. And in Thailand, things are just not normal (as I know it in America). Especially in a small town like mine. We don't even have parking lots, except at places like hospitals, police stations and government type places. Most people ride scooters and park on the street. But I keep searching to see if there's anywhere that has a decent area to skate on, that would be allowed. If I could just get to where I could skate on that concrete area (where I had my circus experience) it would be great! It's so big and so close to my house. But I can't even get rolling on it. 😕
Heyyyyy Sis!!!! Yea we gonna cuff you cuz you know the drill; we skate at least 3-4 times a week. We need it for mental purposes but you're baaaccckkkkk!!!!!
I’m a beginner skater and when I tell you my first real bad fall…I almost broke my wrists and my butt. I was in so much paiiiiin. I went and ordered a set of pads. I don’t skate now without my wristbands.
Omg yes it took my wrist a while to recover from that one too. I’m so glad you went ahead and got safety gear!!! It’s really scary to think we were so close to breaking something. I thought about getting some shorts with padding too for when I go back to the skate park.
I haven't rollerbladed for about 5 or 6 years. Got back to rollerblading last week Monday. I literally have to relearn how to rollerblade. I practice every day for 5 to 10 minutes. Just to get that rhythm back it's a slow process
Kudos for getting back on blades! It can be a slow process for sure but practicing daily is awesome! You’ll look back in a couple months or so and realize how far you’ve come!
@StruggleSkates I used to rollerblade when I was younger right into my adult years. Now at 38 years old having to relearn is crazy. My feet know what to do. My brain isn't clicking with the movement of my arms. Perfect example, when the right leg goes to the side the right arm has to be straight to the right with the left arm bent over the chest pointing to the right. With the left leg going to the side. The left arm has to be straight to left with the right arm bent pointing to the left. That's the part my brain isn't clicking with. It's so crazy having to reprogram my brain to remember something as simple as that 😁
Haha totally understandable. It’ll click one day for sure. Oh and if you have time when you’re not skating just do the movements in your socks or whatever you like to help with your muscle memory. You got this! 😁
Wait. What am I supposed to be using?! 😂 I mostly do paved surfaces and tennis court materials. I’m not opposed to trail skating though! Just have to find a place…
@@StruggleSkates lol no. I assumed you were using a softer, larger wheel since you are mostly outside but no, you have a good hybrid wheel. You are mostly on pavements so they are fine. Especially when you go indoors. I recently got new skates and they came with big gummy 65mm/78A wheels. They roller over cracks and sticks like a dream but I keep stumbling over them trying to do tricks😅. I was wondering what size you were using to gauge if I need to go back to smaller wheels. I feel like it's easier to learn on smaller wheels but I mostly skate outside/on trails so I might need to tough it out😅.
Ooohhh okay well that makes sense that my wheels are more of a hybrid because I wear them at the skating rink too. Win! It would be nice though to have some wheels like the ones you mentioned though for when I want to be a bit more adventurous. Trail skating sounds fun. I get what you’re saying though (I think lol) I mostly skate outdoors so I hate the thought of switching to my indoor wheels just for a single night too.
Love your skates!
Thank you! I was a sucker for the purple lol 😁
Glad you’re back! You’re right though, skating just makes you feel good. On my way rn to pick up a better pair of skates, so hype!
Thanks! And yesss I hope you love them! What kind are they?
They’re Moxis! They feel way better already, I’m excited to skate more with them!
@oywiththepoodlesalready Niiiiice! Glad you’re enjoying them! 😁

@this-that57 None of my “solutions” are helpful I’m sorry! I’m really hoping you find some place that makes you happy to skate 😩
@@StruggleSkates I appreciate the fact that you even thought about me at all and made the suggestions! So thank you for that! 🥰

Hahahaha I’m ashamed! 😂 but I learned my lesson for sure! Thanks for supporting 😁
Enjoyed watching your journey... inspiring
Thank you! I appreciate that 🤗
Someone get this lady some cherries 😂😂
I’m so done with you! 😂😆
@@StruggleSkates 😂😂
If everyone approached life like you do with skates we'd have a better world. Good vibes! Skate on!!!
What a wonderful comment! Thank you! 😁😆

lol nope im just like u, it feels like i havent in forever and now im scared that i forgot everything 😭😅
I won’t sugarcoat it lol it might suck. I definitely forgot some things and my balance was way off…but that being said it’s 100% worth it 😆
what skates do you have? i love the color combo 😭
They are Riedell Orbits! Last I saw they had three different color combos 😁
Hey Beauty! Where did you get your wrist guards?
Hey! I got them from Amazon and the brand is JBM 😁
Girl I got my skates. I was so excited to practice. Then I got the flu. Urgh.
I really hate that for you!! Hope you recover quickly. I would never wish the flu on even my worst enemy 😩 it’s the worst
What size are your wheels?
85A, 57mm 😁
@@StruggleSkates Woah lol. Was not expecting that. Do you ever trail skate or are you more of a paved platform type of girl?
