- The PokeRogue beta client has been publically available for a while now, it completely went under my radar, as it did for many others. In this video we take a first hand look at all the new beta features. To say they are really promising and awesome would be an absolute understatement :)

Gambling ? Pokerogue might be the best Pokemon game I've ever played (definitely not because of the gambling feature)

It's definitely not the gambling elements and gacha elements that make it so fun, definitely not. It's the skill expression and fast pokémon gameplay that hooks us all in.. surely :)

17:45 the black sludge works like healing charm and shiny charm, it's on the top left probably like a leftovers effect for all poison type Pokemon in your party id guess
it is the item that triples shop costs, it is not a buff

Riiiight that makes a lot more sense haha, thank you for pointing that out! Black sludge is also a damage boosting item in the mainline games hence I got confused. I see the icon :)
Damo meant to say that the black sludge is different to healing charm and shiny charm as those items buff and help the player where black sludge is a clear debuff. No need to be so harsh friend.

That is what the black sludge did as a debuff. The player got sludged essentially.
I'm happy with these changes in all honesty. I always thought there should be more ways to get hidden abilities outside of being lucky with catching/hatching pokemon
It would be cool if after you sold away a Pokémon, you then encounter that same trainer, and your old Pokémon in a battle the next time u play classic mode.

What makes you think you have a better grasp on the odds, risks and reality of hosting a pokemon fangame than the actual team behind it?
@@Knetterkoekje ive been playing pokemon fan games for nearly a decade, ive seen this happen multiple times. pokémon uranium, pixelmon and pokemon glazed for examples
@@jake9107 I hear your concerns, but they did not ask for donations to keep up with specifically server cost right? The donations the pokerogue team are asking for do not directly correlate with Pokémon assets. Let's stay optimistic and hope it will all be fine an Nintendo spends their time on making gen 10 a better game rather than taking down cool projects :)
I play on Android, there are bugs in the game such as shiny Pokemon colors not appearing on the screen, I hope that in the future there will be a fix for this bug, the rest of this game is very enjoyable, thank you.🎉
Are you sure you are selecting the shiny and variant you want in the starter select screen? It was a common misconception when they changed starters to not default to max luck and shiny available, but rather default to a ''clean'' starter with nothing selected. They did change it back to this, but its worth a shot to mention :D

If you inspect element and go to the console, you can view your Pokemon in the page's Javascript. You might be able to scope their IVs that way?
Ohh thats smart. I could have done that to see if IVs do go beyond 31. Its too late now, but the next time it happens I will science it out if we don't get clarity from the developers on all the details any time soon :D Thank you for sharing this!

yes, now that theres a clear and indefensible way for these leeches to make money the Pokemon Company will send a Cease and Desist

The donate link and page has always been there, they just didn't really promote it in any way shape or form. I think we will be fine. It's a similar odds to not wanting to go outside, because you might get hit by a car.

@@Knetterkoekje now that its being advertised id say pokerogue has about a two months before their lawyers can get thru due process and sent the cease and desist. the developers have their discord names on full display wont be hard to find out who's responsible

Well its not going to be that much easier as the pokémon with its hidden ability unlocked is completely random, but yeah its yet another way to obtain pokemon with their HA. So I guess overall slightly easier :)

You are basically copying the data from your account over, I assume anything that is done in the Beta will not affect your main account. You're safe.

They are seperate savefiles, you can play on both the main and beta client, just keep in mind that when you progress your account on the beta client its seperate progression and you can't import and export from the beta to the normal client :) But yeah nothing to be scared off friend, you can play without losing anything!

Yup same issue it had the previous time, something going wrong with the automated backup :/
(My Englisch is not the best, but) If i want to sign into the beta i need to fill in with my username and password, but it says, that it doesn't work but that are the right log in information, in the "normal" version of the Game the Data works, can someone Help ply
