Amazing Blaupunkt (Blue Dot) vintage shortwave radio in the office. My Aunt had one of these beauties that her husband had purchased in Germany around 1945. Could pick up international broadcasts, military frequencies and amateur radio stations. The dial had a wonderful illumination and would bathe her small living room in the most beautiful glow. I’m sorry the family sold this treasure when she passed. 😢
Avalon! Thank you so much for visiting. What a beautiful story! That office was SO special to me. It reminded me of my father’s office when I was growing up. So it pleases me to no end that you saw something that resonated in the same way, calling back to people that you loved. I am sorry that the radio was sold. There is a chance that you could find one like it at an estate sale. ?
This is a beautiful Eichler. I’m impressed with the previous owner(s) of this home for having the restraint to not remodel this home. Zillow shows the home did not sell.
Gregorio I could not agree more. It was a house well loved, and not neglected. As of today, the house is pending. It will close early January. Thank you for visiting!!!
@@ericsimonson8540 Indeed. For a property like that, there is a mighty price tag. But if you love MCM, there are models for less. The realities of the market in the immediate bay area are staggering. Even to locals. I am not sure if that is something that will ever 'normalize'. Like driving across the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing the striking red towers popping up out of the fog.... I don't think that scene will ever grow old. Thanks for visiting.
I hope this beautiful house is in good hands now 😊
Love it.
Thanks for visiting. I love this one too! (It reminded me of my father.)
Wow, wonderful Eichler. That atrium is just one of the best features of the house.
Mark, Thanks for visiting! This one was epic that's for sure!
WOW!

Camera work is terrible. Pans are too fast, drops and pull always are amateur. Great house but you lose me with this video.....
