The more Michael started speaking on how he loved being black the more some came for him with hate!! Oh they didn't like that! Michael had too much power for a black man as he dwelled on this earth! Heck even after death he still does. His fans should go in the world book of records for the most loyal loving supportive fans ever!!! I mean they showed out after that lying documentary !! They toured all over the world I busses, van's etc,and doing everything else protesting against that documentary. All in support of Michael's innocence. I loved every bit of it! I'm a Michael fan way back starting with the Jackson 5. Thank you loyal fans that were able to do ALL y'all did in defending in Michael's innocence. Forever blessed 🙏🏽❤️

that and they also never knew he did a depigmentation surgery to even out the rest of his skin. it was a new thing that was coming up for those suffering the worst case of vitiligo and michael had the worst case : universalis vitiligo. cover 50% to 80% of the body

On one of his close up pictures of him with an afro. I saw it coming I saw the spots. Not patches yet. But the ones said he wanted to be white mainly were racist people I bet , because of the hateful words they said afterwards. . And ignorance of any black person that assumed Michael wanted to be white even when he denied it . Michael even spoke on proud being a black man. I guess some just didn't wanna except that! @@elisageorge1798 yea there was one photo of him as a kid and when I look back at it his skin was always different than his brothers. On his fingers they looked lighter not a patch but looked like the pigment was fading.
Plus it wasnt a common thing back then probably scared the crap outta him he already had trauma from fans and family making fun of his acne. I see why he hid it for dear life.

and i came back to say, the reason why michael did more interviews and covers for black publications is because well they’re black and they asked him REAL ass questions. idc how this sounds but those white ppl asked stupid ass shit that was uncomfortable and they tried to get a rise out of him. but when it came to HIS people, u can see he was more relaxed, outspoken. he felt at home with us.

He hated every second of being on the show! It's definitely the years that people don't wanna acknowledge, he was blossoming as a performer and dancer. Yea vitiligo wasn't really discussed nor publicly known to anyone. Only just recently people are more educated on the skin disease and its more out in the open now. But during the 80s and 90s people were in the closet about exposing such a disease ..so the internet and social media helped improve people's way of thinking on the skin disease..so unfortunately during Michael's peak of his popularity at his high moment of fame people without the knowledge that we have learned today. People would make up the skin bleaching rumors about him.
