Spell Books are magic weapons that fire projectiles at the cost of mana instead of ammunition. Spell Books function the same as Magic Guns and Wands, but they appear as books. There are 9 different types of spell Books, 6 of which are
Hardmode-exclusive.
In this video I will provide a guide for every spell book in Terraria. As a player, especially a role mage player, spell books are a unique magic weapon that you can add to your arsenal. There are 9 spell books and each has its own power and characteristics. So I hope this video can be used as a reference when choosing your gear.

It's easy to find. All you have to do is find a bookshelf. If you find a blue book with 1 yellow band, that is the Water Bolt.

"Spell books" are not a weapon type. Magic weapons are too varied to make categories of, and weapons are not judged by their sprites, they are judged by their function (all "spell books" are judged by their sprites, which doesn't make sense for a weapon type).

What would you suggest for magic weapons then? Just by magic weapons? Or anything more specific? For sorting purposes of course

@@maximumcards87 I think that just straight up listing them is better. Like I said, magic weapons are far too varied to make categories of, unlike other damage types.
