@huntizzy1 i saw widespread this year and jimmy was one of the best musicians at the whole festival. he just went off on this solo the whole damn show! hes such an inspiration
if you haven't heard of Barry Sless def check him out.. he played with g e smith in moonalice most recently but he was the first replacement for jgarcia when he died, andc sless has also played with the allman bros and govt mule and has appeared on stage and i met him in nashville when they opened for tea leaf green in nashville at thecarrery row ballroom in like 2009, moonalice blew TLG away imho.. id put barry sless right under jherring for him being so smooth and very very impressive jam band style guitar lead player... but jherring is the silver stringsmith of choice for most guitar jam addicts like me!!
Cosmic Charly you got that right babe no one can ever replace his talent courage and the grace amazing thing he made it all for us thank-you !!!!!! Mikey you all all always be the most important part of our boys no matter who In hell tries to walk in his shoes never will it done again I blessed to have seen them first early nineties he and they will be a part of me forever how about some 1 by 1 or a Little sandbox
i gotta plug U-Melt here. they had a fantastic majority of a decade, an epic run, broke up right when they were catching on throughout the usa and were big in japan(tom waits hehe).. too bad bcuz they have some very silky and clean trance jams, huge sound esp for a 4piece.. from NYC area.. the main attraction imho is Rob Salzar, the guitar player. rob salzar is younger and sounds better than mike rempel from lotus, and i like lotus a lot!!
Painful, I was wondering the the same thing, missed Jimmy 3-4 times, finally cought on... at least he nailed it with Jojo...that would have just made this video rough...
