A delightful video! Do you leave your chicken tractor outside for the winter? Does it affect the tires? It’s an amazing design and you did a great job of silently showing us it’s features. Lots of ingenuity around this here homestead! Carly is adorable. Reminds me of knocking over deers back in my day. I kept the antlers as a souvenir. Lovely family!

Your inventions, work ethic and attention to detail just astound me. I can see now why you wouldn't consider moving into the flip house. You have put so much into your homestead and love it obviously. The setting in nature is so peaceful!

Barry many neat inventions on the homestead. Does the coop have an auto door? Your removal wall would be easier with slide bolts. The chicken tractor is amazing.

For example, I worked today 6 am - 12, came home and worked in the garden, put away the thrive life order (need to make more shelves 🤔) made supper, cleaned up the dishes, went shopping, had a quick supper of left overs, processed over ripe tomatoes to go into the freezer tomorrow, watched your vlog and it's 12:24am now a hot tub would be nice about now BUT only if I'm not the one looking after it 😊😟. Not happening *sigh*. I'm retiring in February ..hmmm maybe then

My problem was that it was very expensive to buy feed all the time. I didn’t seem to have enough scraps from the kitchen to just feed them all the time with that. I had 20 chickens. And if he became unavailable, I wasn’t sure how I would keep them fed, especially in the winter when they can’t forage for bugs.

But (reading your comments) why are their nesting boxes filled with same thing as the bottom floor where they poop? Why don't you have straw in their boxes where they lay eggs? I've never heard of this Barry. (Old as dirt country girl here...teach me something new)
Put that removable wall on hinges, add air shocks to hold it up, Right now it might [not] be an issue but when you are older and have ouchie shoulders you will thank me.
I listen to a few Christian ASMR channels, they are fantastic for relaxing and/or falling asleep. LifeWord ASMR is one I’d recommend if wanting to check out what it’s about. There are other good Christian ASMR channels too, but not nearly as many as the secular ones (which many are into the occult and I’d steer clear of personally speaking.) Blessings to you!
Love your chickens. I like the design of the coop. It easier to clean. We have chickens too. They greet me everyday and I always talk to them too. :)

The biggest reason is we are 100% debt-free. I would never go back into mortgage debt.

The design wont allow hinges. I'm going to be rebuilding the whole building soon. It will have a better design the next time.. :)
