"I enjoy Star Wars for what it is, not what I want it to be" - Thats the best thing I've heard in a long while!

I enjoyed your discussion style video with your fiance, and I enjoyed this video too. I’m glad to see you experimenting with formats. Whatever you settle on, I’m here for it so long as you stay sane.

LF marketing should focus on the creations, not the creators. We don’t care who or what they sleep with.

This is what happens when the bean counters and the suits interfere with art. Unfortunately, as we all know, large corporations are beholden to share holders. And whom do shares holders trust most with their investments? Bean counters and suits. In this corporate environment, leadership is dead. Art and creative vision are choked. The talentless cyborg mathematicians and the uncreative, “important” suits call the shots, now. The pattern I see for the future of Star Wars is a glut of thrown-together content infected by non-artistic input that looks good on a spreadsheet. If we are lucky, we will discover a few, random gems in so much soil. 🙏

I’m at the point where, unless there’s an official trailer, it’s not gonna happen. I would rather they just take some time, find good writers, cast the right people and let the creative talent CREATE something amazing.

I say blame Disney/Headland. Unless the Acolyte had been intended from the start to be a multi-season project, as was the case with Andor (2 seasons), a 2nd season was never a guarantee, and Leslye Headland had lied to us by promising that The Acolyte would be a complete self-contained story. They should have done maybe four additional episodes for a total of twelve so they could have wrapped up all the loose story threads in a satisfying way within one season. They had already gone all out & blown $180 million on this dubious venture - - why not spend a little more to finish it properly? And now if the story is ever picked up again, it will likely be in the format of either a comic book series or one of those dumb poorly-written High Republic books that only very few fans actually bother to read.

@@Daniel-415-Ponce I definitely felt lied to when I watched that final episode and saw nothing but cliffhanger after cliffhanger. The only thing that was resolved was that Sol died! Very frustrating, even moreso now that the show has been discontinued. Such a mess

Cancelled!!?? 😮😮 I haven't even watched Season One!! 😅😅 Joking aside, the moment I found out Lez Headbanger was the Showrunner, there was not a snowball's chance in Hell that I would watch or support this Show. I felt this was KK's ultimate middle-finger to what I would consider, is the older, more traditional SW fan. I do however, completely share your frustration on all of the cancelled projects and Lucasfilm has been in a complete mess for a long time now. 😢

The majority of Star Wars fans are clearly uncultured morons. Star Wars content should be made specifically for a small demographic that doesn’t even watch Star Wars, whilst attempting to directly push away the old fan base. I call that a recipe for success, as the numbers clearly show.

@@davidedge2828 it’s strange to me too, because they will have people like Dave Filoni come in and make projects that are full of passion and creativity, and then turn around and try to “try something new” again. Just stick with what works!
