Seriously I've been waiting for this drama soooo long.... It's quite disappointing how it strays so far from the original novel. I mean aren't there so many white lotus female leads and pure male leads, I honestly think the drama would have been better if they had done justice to the original characters.
I mean Wen Wan wasn't scheming from the start, Nie Sangyu wasn't that evil and Ning Yunxian was definitely not a likeable character. They all changed as the story progressed. What's this I'm watching.... Feels like an entirely different plot. Ji Man was definitely the best, I mean where's that original intelligent scheming female lead who learnt to adapt as the situation called for... what's with all these hyperactivity!😢
As soon as I saw Ling Jianxing I recognized him as sister character in "the Journey of Flower" his character was Sha Quian Mo and I loved him in that drama. What a wonderful drama and happy to see him again but hope he is not a bad person in this drama, lol. One of the most wonderful characters in a drama I have ever watched. I will watch on to see what he is up to in this one. His name is Ma Ke (Kyle Ma in English)
Gosh the female lead is annoying and stupid. I really don’t like her behavior. She expects him to be nice and kind to her, after everything she did before „loosing her memory“. Maybe if she would think about that, she would find out that she is the villain in this not him. She kept mistreating everyone, there is a reason why people call her „devil“ and are afraid of her. But ofc she thinks it’s his fault, she should be grateful and happy that she isn’t in prison or worse. I don’t care if she doesn’t remember, she knows about it and she is still mean and arrogant towards him. I hate People like that. Can’t understand why people in the comments are praising her, for being bold and „smart“, more like arrogant and stupid. She is literally a danger to his life and career and still he protects her and deals with everything she did on his own. Nope I don’t like her.
