All of twilight somehow makes me sad. It's not a bad thing. I see it in a way that it was done on purpose, as if we could see how being a vampire is. Yes, happy sparks and moments. But it can also be a long, sad, and somehow peaceful yet peaceless road.
I wholly agree.
I think it encapsulates the idea of love as well. It's not always fun and games, sometimes it's scary, lonely, you need to trust each other and sacrifice yourselves for each other. The story between a human and a vampire was fine, but the core of it is just your typical relationship.
The fact that vampires can't eat human food and have to barf it out is the saddest part tbh. I'd never choose immortality over food, it'd be depressing
exactly, Edward is a good example of this, he shows us the bad side of being a vampire.
of being made to kill, living in changing places, having to adapt to new customs, existing for all eternity with solitude and sadness without to know if he will find true love.
Edward had a good reason for not turning her, he knows how painful it is and he didn't want it to be for her too, but Bella had her reasons too
I also get sad watching it because it takes me back to how I felt when I first read the books. I wish I could go back and relive that first moment

I was 14 when I first started reading the books. Caught up in the world of myspace, tumblr, paramore and angst. Im 28 now, married and still a Paramore stan. 14 years later and I still want to live in rainy Forks Washington. There's something comforting and sad about twilight's asthetic but it'll always be one of my favs.

My mom was obsessed with Twilight, she finally let me watch it at 4 years old. Now I'm 13 and I'm still not over the series. Whenever I am down and need it I grab my favorite ice-cream and watch the whole series. It never bores me. I love the aesthetics, soundtrack, cringy acting and scenes, how beautiful it is, and the love Edward and Bella share. I cannot get over this series.

My mom and Grandma used to practically make me watch it with them even before I was anywhere near old enough and they just told me to cover my eyes and ears at the inappropriate parts. (I'm 14 now btw)
I always believed that it was the ambience of the first Twilight film that made it a hit. It was the mysterious, peaceful and melancholic woodland vibe that made it very attractive to audiences. It wasn't necessarily the plot but the way Catherine Hardwicke chose to depict Bella's world.

What you said!!! Absolutely. I have been waiting for this moment a long time as well. I remember how awful it was being teased for liking something that was becoming mainstream and had sparkly vampires in it (as if that was everything Twilight represents!), look at us now.

Twilight Saga is so underrated. It has the best soundtracks, the cast is incredible, and the character development is fantastic. The first twilight movie is so relatable except for the supernatural part. I mean to say the awkwardness between teenagers and high schoolers' Dumbness is so realistic. I will not be able to die peacefully if I do not get another one from this movie. periodt.
ive lived in forks my whole life, while i was living there i hated the cold weather. later on i moved to flordia. completely different. everytime i watch these movies in flordia it never gives me that satisfaction anymore

When im having anxious or depressed ill watch twilight over and over. Twilight it giving me some kind of heal and therapy even tho it's not real but I can feel and drown into the story line. I’ve literally been listening to this playlist this entire week of exams that I have and I must say it’s helped me A LOT to focus
This movie just takes you through a journey with bumps ,complications, tragedy's but is ultimately driven by love and the bonds that hold the characters together, all the different kind did love is what carries the story. The belief in true love and that some things just can't be explained. It has a sence of twisted irony, how the lion falls in love with hare Ben when all the red flags and warning sides are ther. It shows how some things where just meant to be. The music also tells us a story which makes the movies so moving for me. I know it's probably silly but this showed me that love exists in many ways whether it seems right at first there is a sence of faith. And a sence of unriquited love, love that is unconditional, love that is forbidden, love that is one sided, love full of hope, and love full of fear. But that thought of being able to have just a bit of that love is enough for them to risk everything. The complete and utter love Edward and Bella have, the instant love Alice and Jasper have, the faith Love that Carlisle and Esme have, the classic love that Rosalie and Emmett have, the sweet love that renne and Phil have, and the past love that renne and Charlie have, the one sided love Leah has for Sam and the parental love Edward and Bella have for renesme. It's all driven by love which makes the movies so addictive to me. I also dance so being able to tell the story of love through the music and motion is just magical
Well said. These movies are very good. The first one was a bit meh in terms of acting but the rest are wonderful. My fav is the last one. The ending song is forever etched in my heart.

Something about knowing you're stuck in life feeling a certain type of way and that the movies we romanticize on a daily basis could never possibly be reality? I think that everyone is here because they cant get over how twilight affected them even though some parts of the movie are a bit weird im still overly obsessed and in love. Rainy forks, washington the place ive always wanted and wished i could be in. Some people are here because they are hurt, depressed, lost or they just found their peace and twilight helps them explore it. Romantiscizing life and listening to this playlist makes me happy in a way i never knew i could be sometimes this alone time is the most peaceful time.

When I hear Rosyln I'm in La Push with Jake, in the garage next to his house. It's heavily raining on the roof tile but I feel comfortable in Jake's Rabbit with a can of coke -room temp, obviously- and his sun filling the hole in my chest.
It's nostalgic. It's calm and quiet, and nobody has to say anything. It's not the happiest, but it's definetly the most peaceful. Like I'm myself again.

I loved the nature the huge trees and the sound of the rain.. every time summer comes I miss autumn waiting for let the first raindrops fall so I can start watching the series again from the beginning.. I will always love it because it will be there to remind me of the most beautiful years of carefree and peace of our young age.. listening to all these wonderful songs I close my eyes and I feel like I'm walking in some forest in the forks calm with tears in my eyes, not of sadness but of nostalgia.. thank you for this feeling that this listening creates for us.. I noticed most of the songs use a guitar as the main instrument, which makes sense because, for me , Forks reminds me of a calm downtown place where people are down to earth. Classical guitar is a down to earth instrument
Now that I’m in my young 20s, I can appreciate these songs without the feelings of total loneliness and despair taking me down.
Idk how to explain it better but the teenage years, from 13 to 19, were the saddest for me and I didn’t have the tools to understand anything. Always felt too slow, or too advanced but never in the right timing.
Now I understand that only my pace will work for me and it’s okay, it’s totally okay if I’ll always be « slow » to others, for love, for work, for whatever really or too « fast » i don’t care anymore, and that’s the information I missed before, and I’m so happy and relieved to know this now.
To all my young girls seeing this comment, I promise your time will come, it will come and everything will be alright. It’s part of the experience and everybody deals with it with the tools they have or haven’t found yet.
