Conveniently doesn't show how difficult it is to see the water level hidden behind the handle!

Celcius probably makes more sense, 0 to 100 is much easier than 32 to 212

no it's not easier. The metric system sucks. And the only reason they pushed it was before calculators. When slide rules were still being used.

"You have this nice gauge here"...
Yeah. We call that a "thermometer". Brand new word someone cooked up.

    Can you reset the kettle
The lights are on but it won't allow me to switch it on, the chimes sound but nothing more?
    Any suggestions please?

The temperature isn't in Fahrenheit; no go--who wants to look at guide every time you make something. If a product is sold in the US, then it should have the true and proper system of measurement.

+thepowerlifter thanks for the idea but I don't think it's souposed to work that way. Think, what water cooker works by plug and unplug specially an expensive one.

"Let's try our tea and see what we think." Of course the WHOLE WORLD IS STUPID, we don't think she swapped the tea out for a second.

It's isolated so you wouldn't know if it's hot enough to burn you. I want one
