Thanks tons! We love sharing our personal experiences from the yard. So many people, like you, share your yards with us and allows us to see so much more amazing each season. :)
That's an interesting one! I usually use my hot peppers in cooking and jellies but to get one that doesn't keep burning might be a new experience. And I have a "tropical" garden available for growing them.
Thanks tons! A fantastic one for jam. All the baccatums are really. The best jam I have ever had Angel made from fresh local peaches and the Sugar Rush Peach pepper. The second best I have had she made from store pineapple and the Lemon Drop pepper. This Aji Mango is top tier on that list and will become a jam as soon as possible. Our favorite use for the baccatums when we get some fruit to use them with. Your area is perfect for them. I also have a sneaky suspicion and debate that the Datil is actually a baccatum and not chinense. :)
Sounds like a pretty neat tasting pepper. We don't mind listening. Always interesting. My super hots take forever to start fruiting also. Like they just started putting on peppers.
Thanks tons! The hotter the pepper the longer it takes to grow in most cases. We always try a few super hots in our short grow zone and half or less don't make it unless we fight into the cold. Will have to live vicariously through some of you warmer zone friends. :)
Grew up eating mangoes even climbed a few trees to pick them but never compared it to a pineapple, I will next time I eat a mango thought to get an idea of the flavor nodes of this pepper. The color does remind me of the inside of a ripe mango....and the shape of the dried pepper looks similar also. TFS
Thanks a bunch! I probably didn't explain it or clarify well but I mean more like a Pine tree-ish flavor and not the pineapple fruit. Like a Christmas tree smells. I feel like mangos have a flavor in them(especially if a little under ripe) that tastes like a Pine tree smells. It could be just me though. :)
I would love to try them all...thanks for sharing this with us and taking us along ❤❤❤very informative
Thanks tons! A fantastic time of year. Like walking through a candy store. :)

@@UT33200it's not just you. I think mango tastes like what pine sol smells like.
@UT33200 Oh ok got it. This clarifies it best, and I see where you're coming from. Thx
Hi, beautiful peppers. What size pots do you use for peppers in liters?
Thanks tons! The buckets we use are 5 gallon buckets so I believe that comes to about 19-20 liters.
