Judge Scott Green sentenced Robin Howington to 22 years in prison for the shooting death of her daughter Destiny, saying he did not believe Howington’s claim that her 2-year-old son fired the weapon. “I will never believe that. I don’t think you were honest with the jury about that,” Judge Green told a tearful Howington Friday as he issued his sentence. “You are not the victim in this case.”

I was disappointed that during the victim impact, the dad spoke more about how his relationship with her affected him than about how he was emotionally effected by the death of his daughter. He seems to want vengeance more than anything else. He blames everybody else for not telling him where his daughter was over a 7 month period but where was he? It just seems everybody failed this little girl. I hope she is happy in heaven now. 🙏

Watching Howington sit there and shake her head during the victim impact statement, makes it clear to me that she has not remorse or shame in what she's done. She's taken no accountability and she never will. That won't ever bode well for her in the system. I'm so angry with her right this moment! Shame on this woman's lack of remorse and accountability.

When I think of all the loving families looking to adopt it breaks my heart. Both these kids could've been in loving, safe, amazing homes. I know because after I gave birth to two of my own biological children, I was lucky to have adopted a baby from my cousin who knew she couldn't raise him right. That led us to adopting another baby only a few months later. They have been SUCH A HUGE, HUGGE BLESSING to us. Hearing from the mother & the father I just feel like these kids would've been better off adopted. She's selfish and careless, but so was the father. All he's talking about is him. Both continue to blame other people. May this baby girl rest in peace now & forever 🙏🏼

Then the mom said a random black man walked into the house shot the kid and ran out. Then she said it was the baby daddy not a random. Then she said it was Gavin.. Then she threw the gun into a bush and said she didn't know where it was. Then she said she has PTSD. Where's the truth hm

A small child is dead because of her! 85% time from the sentence, time served, she walks out of court with about 16 years! All concurrent, all she did, hide, lied, broke the law so many times the judge quit counting & none of that mattered? Why? She could have committed 10 more crimes, kept going & still get the same sentence. That doesn’t make sense! Judge said unique case, yes it is. Because she has behaved awful since the gun went off! Restitution, pay the child’s father’s court cost after accusing him!
I became so disgusted by her fake ugly crying face with crocodile tears & her attorneys outrageous behavior, yelling at witnesses! Even yelling at detectives about their outrageous behavior when finally yelled at her.
Watch the whole video. Interrogations need to get to the truth not ask did ask and then say okay, thank you, bye.
And sick of the PTSD rabbit hole they go down. No conviction there either.
But it must be true, right!

Just saw this, cannot believe the Judge says he placed “great significance” on her sentence but then gives her like 35 years, THEN puts them concurrently to only 22 years, so basically ONE charge, after she only has to do 85% she’s out in 18.5 yrs,,not up for parole, she gets out!! What a RIDICULOUS sentence for this low selfish, drugged up,pos. Not justice for that little girl! That’s not even on our justice system this is on this lenient Judge! 🤬 Awful!

I’m appalled that she only got 23 years. She committed murder for crying out loud. Plus being a drug dealer and a liar. She will have the chance to start a new life while Destiny lies in a casket with no future. Shame on you and unfortunately, the court.😡

God is our ultimate judge , however he places persons to judge matters in our court systems
The bibles tells us to obey the laws of the land. Its illegal to murder.

It's funny how those tears dry up whenever the prosecutor starts talking to the court about the things she be doing. She gets so pissed off with that woman, crazy to see. Based on what the father's statement, she probably did kill that girl cause of jealousy of the father/daughter relationship. So 😢😢😢

The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that this was accidental one was or another, but she messed up by trying to lie about it from the get go. The reason I believe that is because of how fast it happened after they got back, mom got back in and she was shot. Something happened in those few moments which doesn't seem like it was planned. I think she was irresponsible with a gun and it cost her daughter's life 😔😔

I reckon it was a drug deal at the home that went wrong. There was a commotion or tussling with the gun and she ended up shooting her little girl by accident. Instead of trying to save her daughter’s life or at least hold her whilst she takes her last breaths, she plots to hide the gun and stage a scene so it looked like someone else did it. Blaming the child’s father didn’t work so she pinned it on her 2 year old son. Despicable creature.
