The scene when Belle tells the Beast that she knows what it’s like to be lonely is the sweetest, most adorable moment I have ever seen in a stage show. I wish that Disney added that scene in the movie. Even the remake might have had a better chance if they did.
I'll keep this in mind if I ever get the chance to do a series remake of Beauty and the Beast for Disney. And as a fellow Beauty and the Beast fan myself, I'll go as far as I need to not to make it suck like Disney's other TV series adaptations of their movies.
At the beggining of the video my first reaction was that her voice was annoying, but then she started singing and shut me up immediately, what a beautiful voice and technique I am amazed ❤
I think that showed up in my recommended videos because I watch Gracie's UA-cam channel! The whole first scene I'm squinting going "....wait is this the year that Gracie did it ? oh my gosh yeah that's her!" She is such a hardworking and talented young lady, and it's really cool to see her in her element before she started UA-cam! I'm from Canada and this level of musical theatre at school at least where I'm from is really unheard of so this is really cool to see and now I'm going to watch all the rest of her performances! Edit: her Belle voice is so perfect it literally doesn't even sound like her and she kept it the whole time I'm sorry if I sound naive but this level of musical theatre literally does not exist where I'm from I'm sorry😂
Thanks, Esme! We agree that Gracie O'Connor is fantastic. Perhaps, you'd like this playlist of some of our favorite Gracie moments: ua-cam.com/play/PLzvdeRjhZpVknz3WIeSQW6Wswvh-2e4SU.html . Enjoy!

also HOW DOES THE CART LOOK SEE THROUGH
@@audreyrobertson3583 I'm pretty sure they use a mirror, like magicians do. It looks amazing!
Ohmygod that was the cutest "told you so" ever
"you should learn to control your temper". That is the best line delivery of any Belle including Broadway and animated.
"Say something about the dress."
"It's pink!"
"A compliment!!"
Lol
Belle is such a beauty 😍
What do you think belle meand in french p.s. it means beauty

I really wish the animated movie was beat-for-beat from this version, it shows the connection they have, especially in the library.
Golly! What high production value! Everything is lovely!

@@TKAWPB Woah, wait, you do more than one musical per year?!
This production is amazing!!
I love the play expeshly because it makes me feel like the movie is real
how fitting that the belle sort of looks like emile de ravin
like a combination of emile de ravin and anna paquin!
The feels:)

Is it just me or is this Belle going for a Transatlantic accent?

This is just a personal bookmark so I can learn this song better (I'm Cogsworth in the musical at my school, and I'm a girl too)
How'd it go?
Ooh oh boy the beast and belle
Amazing job 👏 👏👏
Everytime I watch this version, I can't stop thinking how expensive tuition must be for the theatre dept to be able to afford the set.
I looked... it's only like... 30,000 dollars a year-
i’m guessing this is is what north highs looked like
it could be-
hsm?
