Great video again as always Joe. You all are some good ole boys who get after it and have a great time. Brandon is a beast and would love to fish with him. Got a great laugh!!!
Really nice to see some enthusiastic and conscientious C+R fishermen. I'm okay with keeping a few, but some people can't decide which they're doing and damage a lot of fish digging a 15 cent eagle claw hook out of their sphincter. Really, really gorgeous fish too, wow.
Keep doing what your doing joe, your content is amazing, first thing I do when I get home from work, walk the dog then check if joe posted a new video!! Love the videos man you sir are awesome!!
Top notch video, Love your new buds and the content, wished I was there. Headed out for some Crappie fishing right now. Looking forward to your next ones coming out.
Not many lakes in Wisconsin have the eelpout (known here to some as a lawyer) but they're delicious! I used to catch them out on Green Bay when I was a kid. All we ever did was boil them in water and dip them in butter. Can't get much simpler than that, but they are definitely one of my favorite eating fish!
I liked the Eskimo ones a lot but I ripped the crotch out. They are a little warmer and heavier so the clams will be good for warmer days and more mobile days
Really great videos ! Love the fishing opportunities in Maine and cannot wait to try West Grand soon or at least open water at ice out. Without giving away spots can you offer depths etc... that you were getting the togue and salmon? Couple weeks ago at Moosehead the togue were in 35-65' with some hitting right under the ice.......salmon were in 35-75' right under the ice which was new for me because I've usually got them tight to shore out to about 25'........looking forward to episode 3 !
For sure, the bulk of our togue came 45-65 foot deep on bottom, jigging was a little higgher in the same depths. We didn’t hit any on our shallow traps this trip but it’s not uncommon to hit a togue on a salmon trap under the ice. While the salmon roam and you can hit them shallow over any depth we did our best like you said tight to the shore in 6-20 feet but fishing close to the surface. Best of luck!
Have. Those. Same. Boots and love. Them and. Told a. Family friend of mine about them and before I even. Got my hands on mine after I ordered mine he wanted me to order him a pair and he. Loves them just as much as I do they are phenomenal boots
I wish youtube gave better notifications on the premieres, Its hit or miss from what I hear. I will be premiering a new episode of this series every night.
@@JoeHollandFishing I'll keep an eye out. I'm a few hours behind you but I'm sure it helps you if we get here for the big event and I want to be there for ya. I assume straggling in any ol time later isn't as good for the ol algorithm.
@@JoeHollandFishing Not sure if I can make it due to work, but I'll watch when I can. I've been enjoying your adventures. It's a special bunch of people up in Maine.
OMG.... MY OLD MAN LIVES BY THAT SAYING!

Love the series Joe! Did you retire your Eskimo bibs? Which ones do you like better the Ice Armour or Eskimo?
I liked the Eskimo ones a lot but I ripped the crotch out. They are a little warmer and heavier so the clams will be good for warmer days and more mobile days
You need to come up to northern canada to fish for the big girls. 35" plus. Once they hit the 40" mark they are basically 1" for 1lbs of this.
that would be awesome
Lewiston lobsters! 😂😂 I avoid that area like the plague. Lol
thanks
Does this lake have direct access to the sea? Is there really salmon in the lake, or are they trout?
They are landlocked salmon. Not from the sea. Just freshwater
Awesome Salmon Joe! They look super healthy
Thanks Bud, Super healthy for sure. Maybe one or two racers is all. The rest are silver sided footballs.
Born and raised in Lewiston and still live there. The Lewiston Lobster made me lol.
haha thanks
CUSK TIME!!!!!!
You know it bud!

Yep u said that in another vid I'm sorry
Isn’t moose just the best
Yes it is, bear is right up there too depending on how it’s prepared
Why did that guy not kill the fish, as he cut the tail open, gutted it out, and put it back in the water alive?
Not sure what part of the video talking about but it may have been the bait?
