Prince Pendapala is such an amazing character. I loved how he could see past appearances and recognize Esiankomo’s true worth. The way he tested the stepsisters’ honesty was brilliant-I was cheering when they couldn’t remember the song! He and Esiankomo make such a perfect pair because they both value authenticity over superficiality.

Taimi’s cruelty really struck a chord with me-it reminded me of how some people try to bring others down out of jealousy. But seeing Esiankomo rise above it all and still choose forgiveness in the end was so inspiring. It’s not easy to let go of pain like that, but her kindness made her a true queen in every way
