Billie Eilish’s third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs- ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end-does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, FINNEAS, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles. This album comes on the heels of her two massively successful albums “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" and "Happier Than Ever" and works to further develop the world of Billie Eilish.
Eco Details: This vinyl is made of 100% recycled black vinyl. All vinyl packaging is made from FSC® certified recycled paper/boards made 100% from post-consumer waste and recycled pre-consumer fibers. The ink used is raw plant-based and water-based dispersion varnish. In place of shrink-wrap, the sleeves are 100% recycled and re-usable. For shipping, all finished goods are packaged and shipped to depots in up to 93% recycled and 100% recyclable shipping boxes.

I love how much she cares about the environment. One would think this is just to throw shade at the Taylor Swift's in the world (hard to talk about any singer these days without someone bringing her up swiftie or not) but she takes lots of measures to be eco friendly even at her concerts. Im excited for this new album! Its been a while.
She does things that I find very questionable but one thing I love that Billie does is she 100% practices what she preaches when it comes to the environment

@@saku.544 When handling vinyl records, one should never touch the grooves (as she does). The grooves are microscopic, and any grease or dirt might affect the playback. Instead, handle them so that the record's edge is touching the palms of your hands. That way it won't affect the record itself
@@aej06💯. No shade at Billie but just don't touch it. You have to use a soft microfiber or super soft cotton to wipe vinyl ( Neither cloth washed with fabric softener & you have to go with the grain of the grooves in circles. If you don't take good care of vinyl it will sound like garbage. Also, do Not expose it to heat & keep it in a temperature controlled environment. Heat will make it warp.🫶
@@saku.544 nothing. As long as your hands aren’t dirty & you clean the vinyl now and then. DJ’s in the 90s & 2000’s used to handle records all the time

Having the lyrics is wonderful. Not many people consider that when making their vinyl. CDs usually have a little book that has the lyrics but it's wonderful that she added them there.

All my art is wrapped the same way. You can take it out but also put it back in and reseal. Still plastic but at least not “single use”
