It wasn't just the USSR that backed the muslims, Italy openly did it with much help to the turks (i e. muslims) the French gave all their military weapons to them while great Britain stopped supplying greece and stood by while the greek military left anatolia orderly and safely with a burn everything retreat plan once they saw their allies betrayed. The greeks had their heels on the muslims Adams Apple ready to crush it if they'd had the supply chain the British promised. This is HISTORY! And not the fake half truths that you're professing. I'll say one thing more that proves the greeks were betrayed; what did the British italian french and American armada's do while the muslims burnt the greek city of smyrna to the ground while the greek population of over 400,000 living in asia minor for 3,000 years that had followed the greek army from the hinterlands? They watched the muslims burn massacre rape kidnap and enslave greek men women and children, the greeks are christian, and these fleets of fellow christians even cut off the hands of those greeks that were able to swim out to the ships in the harbor and tried to climb aboard, did you get that, the christian men were ordered not to take any greeks aboard!!! Go read about it you fool! Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me?

Despite its shortcomings, it was a good video. In order to better understand the Turkish War of Independence, it is necessary to give greater attention to the reputation assassinations and imperial collaborations of the Ottoman Sultan, the Armenian rebellion in the East, and the French and British occupation from the South. If the congresses and circulars made by the great Atatürk, who abandoned his military uniform and became a citizen and a natural leader, are explained in detail, it will be understood how difficult a war he won.

You can defeat someone, without firing a single shot and that's exactly what actually happened to you. The more important thing here, is you were defeated culturally, too. Not defeated, but actually transformed from inside out. Of course to something better but still much work to be done. Of course you did. You were a nation of nomadic brutes, until you met the civilizations of the middle east and the Meditteranean. In some respect you still are. Millions of you are still "thinking" in terms of empires, physical force, muscles and illusions of past grandeur. The fact most of you are still thinking in such terms, inevitably shows in your politics too, but that's another topic. So...just like some posers at the gym. Full of muscle and no brains. Next time you vote remember that. Ask whatever small thingy is in your skull, why there are votes, elections, parties, a parliament in Ankara etc. Next time you go to a theater, ask yourself who invented drama and comedy. Next time you open a book on philosophy, history, medicine, architecture, math, physics, archaeology, astronomy, just count the symbols the disciplines and the terms and wonder in whose language is all this. I'm not even going to bother you, with the fact, that half of you, are basically islamisized by force, Hellenes. The usual "convert or die" thing, the janissaries and so on. Even the word genocide, a word so familiar to you, is Hellenic. Heck, when you first met the old civilizations of the east, did you actually have a written language? Why is your alphabet comprised of latin-helleniic letters? Even your religion is borrowed from the Arabs. Is there anything important, actually yours? Isn't it strange that none of the nations you were occupying, from Romania to Tunisia, doesn't at all feel, that you actually offered something of value during those times? Why is it, that everone thinks of those times, as the most worthless in their history? Finally give us your nation's contributions to humanity. Kurdistan will happen at some point and then Turkey will be downsized to 30% if not more. If Armenia plays it's cards right with the Russians in that time they will get their share too. This story doesnt even scratch the surface.. Greeks went into Anatolia because more than half of the population was Greeks and Christians... And from after the defeat of Ottomans in Balkan wars, Ottomans starting genocides against Christian and Greek population (Turkey is the only country that hasnt acknowledge that).. Greeks never lost a battle until the Smirna catastrophy against the Ottomans and reached as far inside the remains of Ottoman empire, until 50 km away from Ankara... But for strategic reasons the pulled back to afyon karahishar line(trains supply line)... They stayed there without fighting for more than 1 year and while they were waiting for Ottomans too negotiate big powers like Russia, France and Italy gave them money and guns to start their "Independence" war, strangely enough when Kemal reached an agreement with the British(never see that coming😮).. Menawhile Kemal by killings overthrew the Sultan and took over the power and created the modern Turkey... Fun fact.. Kemal was born in Greek soil but was Muslim... Thesalloniki...

Some people still lie even though there is no reason to do so. This is even more interesting. Except for 1 sentence, all of them are lies. I think it is unnecessary to answer your lie. In August 1921, Mikhail Frunze was sent to Turkey as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Ukrainian SSR. With its appearance, military historians associate the development of offensive operations against the Greeks, which culminated in the first victories of the new Turkish army in the fight against the Entente and the Sultan’s government. Having assisted the Kemalists in organizing the suppression of the liberation movement of the Pontic Greeks, Frunze was amazed at the number of victims of this operation (Genocide of the Pontic Greeks). With the help of Soviet military instructors, Mustafa Kemal, Ismet Pasha and Fevzi Pasha created a revolutionary army from disparate detachments of the Turkish army and partisan detachments
