everytime I listen to Teddy Atlas the first thing comes to my mind is Fight Night Champion and his color comentary he did in the game , very knowledgeable and funny guy.
Teddy answered the Calzaghe question in his previous answer. One guy uses his physicality to win, and the other is undefeated and simply finds a way to win
Atlas helped me with moving to Australia when he said in his show 'everyone wants to wait to hear the coast is clear, someones got to be the first to jump and see, be that person'. Hes given me and im sure many others great life lessons. Love seeing the cobra and teddy together. Its made my day
Get up lads shake off that hangover, we got an interview with a legend, and teddy atlas. Great interview Carl, Atlas is probably the best well known boxing historian since Bert Sugar, as well as a fantastic coach.
Respect to the legend Teddy Atlas. He blasted corrupt judges Howard Foster and Glenn Feldman on his channel after they tried to rob Usyk against Anthony Joshua in 2022
To be fair CARL stuck with Usyk all the way through the Fury v Usyk saga. Carl exercised boxing logic and called out Fury's shortcomings for MONTHS on his channel , whilst the '' Lickers'' fawned around Fury. Only Duke McKenzie, PORKYS CORNER and FROCH picked USYK over Fury.

Nice work Carl and thanks for this 12 round chat with Teddy, lots of passion, enthusiasm and insights on boxing. Really enjoyed listening to this - a great addition to your show! 👌👏
This was a pretty entertaining interview, I liked specially how Teddy loves teaching boxing and clearly looks at raw talent different than most people would. Nice one Carl!
Just a small criticism - Carl needs to appear more attentive when he has guests of this calibre on - teddy's a genuine legend in this wonderful sport of ours and Carl was distant during the chat - he's not disrespectful - but he appeared that why at times
I think his brain starts to wander when he's not the one talking. Like he's having an out of body experience thinking "Why aren't I talking about myself right now?"
Exactly! Teddy didn’t quite understand carls humour and carl knew this yet continued regardless! Teddy is all about business not bs ! Enjoyed the interview tho!
Nobody ever really says how much Teddy helped so many kids in boxing. He was like the father a lot of them didn't have. He cared deeply about people and he encouraged and supported everybody. The guy is a wonderful human being.
@Dex2024 Froch was all wrong for calzaghe, froch got solid chin, joe got weak hands, he would never stop froch coming forward and struggle to out work him imo. Could outbox him like ward did but we'll never know 💁♂️

@ As much as Carl was very much in the thick of things as an active boxer, he’s definitely not much more than a casual as a fan. Henry Armstrong, Jack Johnson, James J Braddock amongst a few. The forgotten greats. Those guys fought on the Sat and in Braddock’s case labouring on the Monday. Those fellas were genuinely hard as nails and 20 round fighters. Very surprised you didn’t know of the truly great Henry Armstrong Carl. This man held the featherweight, welterweight and lightweight titles all at the same time winning them all in the spell of ten months going on to make twenty welterweight defences and five defences in October 1938 alone.
