For a definition of consciousness check out the preprint "B-Man Stra/Tac Model of the Mind. Defining Consciousness" it would be interesting to compare and contrast. BTW if "sensitivity" is the measure of consciousness surely all robots are conscious ?
@AdventuresThroughTheMind ... James, I'm thinking a meeting of minds between Prof Money and biologist Michael Levin would be worth a listen. Have you checked out Michael's chats with Bernardo Kastrup and Curt Jaimungal, and considered getting Michael on for a chat about his ideas regarding embodied minds and cognitive agents existing as cellular networks?
@@AdventuresThroughTheMind also, i agree with you that psilocybin is a gateway into the mycelial consciousness. he missed your point. for instance, DMT is present in many lifeforms which has a profound impact on consciousness, therefore, if one were to extract DMT from humans, they would get a glimpse of how humans perceive the universe.
@@AdventuresThroughTheMind sorry, a pet peeve of mine. every single video on youtube uploaded nowadays includes a mixture of subjective sensationalist clichés that just fill the emptiness without describing anything of value for the listener. this includes "incredible", "amazing", "crazy", "insane", etc. If you find something "incredible", describe how so instead of blurting a vague buzz word, please. thanks.
@@AdventuresThroughTheMind ...You are an exceptional interviewer IMV. I didn't find any noticeable over-use of such descriptors, so it seems an utterly trivial and pedantic criticism ... forget about it.

I'm dismayed by his ignorance of panspermia theory for the presence of certain lifeforms on earth, especially likely for some fungal species.
ya I was also curious that he didn't mention it. But it is a theory, so he may not necessarily be someone who supports it and thus didn't mention it.

"incredible" is subjective, and therefore meaningless. thumbs down for overusing this cliche.
at what point do you mean?
