Saville is a smart player but the difference in power was just too much at the end. Congrats to Navarro 🎉

Navarro gonna snag a slam one day. Her face after that super long rally was like … yeah? what about it ? Girls got it

1:44 41 shot rally - one of the best points of the season ! 👏

Congrats to Navarro! So much patience! Not easy against those moon balls.

No nonsense Navarro with the win. It's not easy playing vs a player who gets a lot of shots back

It wasn't that long ago that I saw Daria (Gavrilova) play in Cincinnati and she was such a young pup. Now she turns 30 in three days, and I can't believe she is the old veteran playing 22-year-old Emma. For a young lady who went to normal high school and graduated at 18, Emma has made huge strides in the game and has been "en fuego" in 2024. She is totally unflappable -- seems to have icewater in her veins -- and seems destined for big things. At this point she appears to be a glorified pusher -- capable of spending all day on court interminably hitting returns and wearing down opponents. But her serve is sharp and she can put you away with well-targeted forehands, so I am hoping she can attain a more surgical approach. So fun to root for Emma. Look for her WTA video where she "wiggles" her eyes!!! Now faces Boulter in the semi. You can do it, Emma!

I'm fed up with the WTA favouring their American women showing highlights when one of their own is playing. Were is the Katie Boulter vs Donna Vekic match played earlier.

Why exactly would the WTA favor American women with their highlights? The tour is international.

@@Johnnybgood76 Its very American influenced with the people at the top, you just have to look at the WTA website when an American wins she takes the lead article.

Australia 🇦🇺 has no good women players after the retirement of Ash Barty 🎾. 😭

Saville is about to turn 30, but injuries have hampered her last five years off and on. She is no worse than many of the players among the 40-50 range in ranking. I suspect she would like to stick around a little more and make a living. Fact is, she has been playing very competitively, and is capable of the serious upset.
