Wonderful. Last 21 years I have trained / educated and performed kOla for various Indian and International Audience across USA, Every time I took Gaggara in my hands, I wished people knew tulu good enough to appreciate the depth and beauty of this, one of the most ancient language (I do kOla in multiple languages including English). At times, I left my job o research and inspire the real artists/tribes in various tulu arts. Wait.... You performerd kola for audience. This tradition is not for audience. It's only for devotion and should know the rules behind the rituals. Only some people of some caste has right to do it
You have no rights to perform kola/nema because it is the belief of thousand peoples of mangaluru it is not any dance that u perform in the programms it is the ritual of tulunadu only the people from tulunadu and to perform that ritual there are castes only they can perform that not the common people so...plzz we are the people of mangaluru requesting u not do anything such things that relate to kola ....stop doing that
