Hallo Luzi Can you please explain my doubt When we use Es lässt sich to convey in General es can be replaced by das right . Can you explain when we use Es lässt sich and when can it be replaced by das And the positioning of es , and das in these cases to convey a general meaning .
In the case of the passive form, you should have said smth about when each form is used. Which is more colloquial, which more bookish. Are they totally the same stylistically. Can they be interchangeable, in which contexts.
I have a question. What should I do when I want to add the person who is doing the action for me in the sentence? For instance "Ich lasse mir das Buch vorlesen". In this sentence, there is no information about who is doing the task for me. Let's say that the person who is reading the book for me is the teacher. Should I say "Ich lasse den Lehrer mir das Buch vorlesen" or is it completely wrong? Like can't I just say " Ich lasse den Friseur mir die Haare schneiden".
