since everyone has brought your attention to Bae's covers I'd like to let you know Bae and Gura released an original song with Deco*27 recently called sweet appetite its a rather cute and interesting song its also their 1st song together
Bae is the Chaos by lore. This song introduces her character as part of Council. Interesting enough other her songs more vocal oriented, "Million miles away" or "Blooming in the mood"(duo with Towa). If to remind same energy music, Polka's Hologram Curcus.
Bae is from Holo Council, the second generation of Hololive English talents, which debuted about a year after Calli and Gura’s group. She’s Australian. Theme wise, as is probably apparent, she is a rat and is the embodiment of the concept of chaos. There are more chaotic members in Hololive though, and if you do ever get to her covers you’ll find that she’s actually more drawn to sweeping emotional ballads than she is stuff more on theme. This original is definitely on theme though. Though a number of the lyrics are somewhat banal or nonsensical by design, the one you noted ‘no math can settle this rat’ is actually one of the more high brow lyrics in the song, being a reference to chaos theory.
While "Play Dice" is Bae's only solo original currently, the composer Camellia (@Cametek.CamelliaOfficial) has worked on a number of other songs for Hololive members, including: "Lioness’ Pride / 獅白ぼたん" for Shishiro Botan, "Domination! All the World Is an Ocean" for the Umisea unit, and "Scuffed Up Age" for Mori Calliope.
IMO Bae really shines through on her ballads, which is ironic given her personality - and vtuber persona - but Play Dice is definitely a fun one still. Hontou no Oto is a beautiful cover song by her.
We did watch that, neither of us liked it at all. So we didn't post the reaction.. I'd rather say nothing than post a video that we didn't enjoy. I think she is talented, but that song wasn't for us lol
I just remembered something. There's a VTuber/VSinger by the name of Futakuchi Mana. She might surprise you. For her covers, I recommend Ussewa and Not Photogenic. Or maybe her Spiritbox covers like Circle With Me or Rule of Nines. But she does have her originals Dissociation and Enmity. She's pretty legit. 🤘
Yup, Bae is a very good singer. Now that you've met our little mAusi bundle of Chaos and Cutiness, check out her more laid back songs (which people already suggested in the comments). Recently she made a song with Gawr Gura "Sweet Appetite". Very cute and literally "sweet" song. It's not over the top in terms of lyrics, singing style or anything like that, but it excells in CUTE area. :D Oh, once again I'd like to recommend you checking out "Myth or Treat". It's a song with all 5 girls from Myth HololiveEN branch singing, written by Calli. Also excells in chaotic and cute energy, made specifically for Halloween.
def' need to check out Ike Eveland's cover of Chronos by Cepheid! ua-cam.com/video/sy8N7Rnnx-s/v-deo.html he's a male vtuber from nijisanji english. what i will say about it, is that it is *not* bouncy/cute, pop, dance/club, or character/lore based. he also did a cover of Aspirin b MuryokuP during his first karaoke livestream. that's what his raw vocals sound like.
I'm sure you've gotten plenty in your list dipping into this hole Bae had a few other songs including one with the shark girl Gura that just recently came out another to try out is Strange her cover of it is super sick
"No math can settle this rat." Hakos Baelz's character lore is that she is the literal avatar of the cosmic ideal of chaos, in the body of a rat girl. "No math can settle this rat" in this context basically means "logic (math) can't predict or dictate my existence". The group Baelz (nicknamed Bae) is from (Hololive English Generation 2: HoloCouncil) are all themed around personifications of cosmic ideals: Tsukumo Sana is space Ceres Fauna is nature Ouro Kronii is time Nanashi Mumei is civilization Hakos Baelz is chaos And their adopted "6th member" who was originally her own solo artist before being adopted into the group: IRyS is hope
Missed this one when it hit. Yeah she only has the one original outside of the Deco*27 collab she has with Gura. Not sure what her plans are for additional music at this point, but her birthday is close and we're only a few weeks out from Holo Fes 4/Hololive's "Our Bright Parade" concert, so she might have something new soon. Just echoing my usual suggestion of Watame stuff. She has a 18 originals now (17 of them have English lyrics and MVs.) Big three I suggest out of those are usually My Song, Everlasting Soul and mayday, mayday. If anyone feels like checking her music out I can almost assure them they'll find something they like as she does a whole bunch of different genres.
the transitions are fire 🔥😎
Davichi sad promise plz

Bae is one of the most underrated singers in Hololive.
Blooming in the mud is a fantastic example of how good Bae (and Towa) are vocally

@@BestFriendsReact If you react to her cover of million miles away (amazing MV) prepare the tissues
@@BestFriendsReact yeah her original song is great but her ballad covers are something really special
You would definitely find Marine's "I'm Your Treasure Box" to be a unique experience

Man this song, so contrasting to what she is normally 😂, hope to see more reactions from them.
i remember it was her first song
The mouse who accidentally knocked a hole out of Mr. Qiao Ke's desk while making biscuits XD

Fun fact the reason the song was so crazy is because bae is the harbinger of chaos
bae has a great voice and voice range :3

I wonder if Moona's High Tide would stick with you guys. I think you'd probably like it.
3:04 Oh in her story she's not just a rat girl. She is the literal cosmic personification of Chaos.

Bae has a great voice and truly shines in some of the covers she does. I recommend her recent cover of Dawn to get a glimpse of her true prowess
She released another original called "Psycho" a month ago.
