Thanks Joyce! It really will! I can’t wait to have it finished! My husband is as excited as I am. LOL. He has the chore of cleaning that room, so he said that this will make cleaning it easier for him. The floors will be, at least. 🙃
Mandi, you could add shoe molding along the edge with the large gap. That would look so much nicer than caulking tape. You could also use a transition piece where the flooring meets the carpet.
Thank you for that idea! I’m so happy to her other’s thoughts on this kind of thing since I’m playing this all by ear. I will look into all of that! Have a great day!
@@athomewithmandiyou shouldn’t line your tiles up with each other. I would stagger them because it leaves less a chance of water getting down in the seems…. You’re doing a great job. I love seeing my sisters turn their space into a cozy home.
Thank you!! I am very proud! 😂😂 There were times when I wondered if I was going to get through it! But apparently we are better than we think we are. Thanks for your very nice comment. I hope you have a wonderful day!
It looks great!! You can buy easy tap down transition strips to put bathroom and bedroom doorway together better and cover your little gaps. Also quarter round molding would look awesome in there around your baseboards and cover nicely. Just pre- paint it white. Measure it and very easy to handsaw. Tap in place with small nails or glue it with liquid nails.
Hey there!! Glad to see you today! I hope you’re having a great week! We love the floors! Such a difference from the original. I wonder if I still have pictures or video of the old stuff, cause the difference is like night and day! I appreciate you ma’am. Have a fantastic day!
Hi Teresa. Yes. It’s a stucco or plaster type finish that someone put on there. I can’t scrape it off, so Im just cleaning it and painting over it. A lot of homes here in AZ have this look, although it’s a very outdated look. The roller sponge that I am using for the paint is for rough textured areas. It works like a dream! 🥰 Thanks for your comment. Have a wonderful day.
You have the prettiest blouses ! And your bathroom is looking great also. Love that flooring !
