Akira and I had a lot of history. I had thought that I helped him out of a depression but to see it go down this road after everything sucks. You can never know what someone has done behind everyone’s back when no one is looking. I wish this level well.
If we're talking about phobos sequel, this is much better than Akira's. But if you think about it as an independent level, I think Akira's version was better.
Exactly what I was thinking because this is well themed and you can tell from the gameplay and deco but I still really enjoyed Akira's because of the unconventional gameplay, sync and deco.
Actually I agree with you, The gameplay in ItsHybrid's version represent Phobos more than Akira's version. The gameplay of ItsHybrid's version is more like Phobos. Akira's version is still good (one of my favorite levels actually) but if ItsHybrid's version was the official sequel then I think that this would fit it more than Akira's verison.

i personally like this way more than the "official" deimos. it's not afraid to try something fresh and original while still being able to call back to the original in a new way, and you can actually somewhat tell that it's a sequel to phobos. can't wait to see this finished, and best of luck on trying to make this official instead of akira's/skele's deimos.

This is super sick! 1 complaint tho: I know your going for a 1.9ish styled level, but some parts look so 1.9 that they don't even look like they where made in 2.1, and others look very 2.1 styled. It creates too much part contrast and causes the parts not to fit together very well. You might wanna look into fixing this. Very good level nonetheless.

I like it. However, I bet you're aware that Skele's version is the official sequel. I think this would be better off being a remake of phobos rather than a sequel as this uses the 1.9 design to it. I would also recommend a name change as well lol, Skele's version is Top 1, this is top 5, and Endlevel's is Top 16. That's 3 different levels all with the name Deimos. Btw, Iris's part at 0:27 looks more 2.1 design rather than 1.9, but that could just be me. As well, the ending dual at 2:39 feels rushed and really unsynced. Otherwise, good work.
I think GD isis chose to do his part like this ( 0:27 ) because, in addition to being in the style of the Iblade part of the phobos, because it is a stronger part of the music, it would be good to do a deco like this, at least I think that that's why I liked it.
Unironically better than Akira/Skele’s Deimos and overall feels much more fitting of a sequel to Phobos than Akira/Skele’s. Really cool stuff! I love how it feels like a clash between 1.9, 2.0 and 2.1 with it still referencing gameplay and some decoration in Phobos! Really wishing this the best of luck ❤️

Sequels don’t have to follow a specific formula of the same style of level you know. Many of the original members of Phobos endorse Skele/Akita’s Deimos much more positively than this one lmao

this is a far better sequel than the one hosted by GDskele because the deco reminds me a lot more to phobos and the other deimos is very generic, good luck to everyone that is making this level, I really like it :))
this is more similar to the original phobos and looks really good but i honestly like Akira/Skele's more as a level. As a sequel they both fit imo because Akira's is more like "if phobos was a 2.1 level" and this feels more like the original.
Even if KrmaL can't verify this, he should at least give it a go, and also just ignore Skele's Deimos, that should be it's own lvl, and I think that should be clear. Anyways, it's a good lvl...
